Actually I do. I popped in when you hit 1000, 2000, 3000, and 4000. I also popped in several times in between. In fact, I often pop in when I am about to log off of the forums. I've seen more of your thread then you think. I was also there when you reached 1000 on the thread 2.0. Before that I posted that I was distressed by a picture of Tali Butt naked with only her mask on. There were censor bars over her nipples and genitals. I was told essentially to each his own by several people. That Dem Hips was a common phrase in that thread. A criticism that I have often seen levied towards the Tali fans, and it is a gross generalization. There are some people who are overly obsessed, and possibly creepy as a result. That is however, by no means the majority, and judging all Tali fans by an extremist few is honestly a very ignorant thing to do.
I know plenty of the people who post there, and most react very negatively to the most slightly suggestive pic. To the point where I feel the need to tease that this is the internet, people will draw/post suggestive things. Again, it no way represents the community as a whole.
If you don't like the conversations and posts in the Tali thread, then by all means, don't post there. No one is forcing you to. But don't post disparaging remarks about a community that are entirely false.
And for the record, I'm sure there is plenty of creepy stuff on the internet about Angelina Jolie, just like there is explicit and suggestive pictures for all Mass Effect characters, not just Tali. Remember rule 34 of the internet. There is porn of it, no exceptions.

Which was exactly why I was dismayed by the various sexually suggestive images. And for the record, the one time I did complain about the images in the Tali thread, the only people who responded tried to justify it, even though it appeared they disagreed. Well yeah obviously, that said, a lot of people find the mystery attractive. I'm not in that camp personally, but there is something to be said of having a close intimate relationship, without making judgments on the person's physical appearance.
I was more referring to her dimensions and voice. Her body is very attractive based on human standards, and I love Liz Sroka's VA work. The face is pretty secondary overall to me.
No, not really. I like Tali as a character too, but I personally avoid that thread in order save my eyes from 'ruining' her. Seriously, NO ONE should think like that. I read about one page before giving up. It is really kinda... odd. Not to generalize, though, just some of that stuff is effed up.
