If you started reading the main Tali support thread from page one right now, do you think you could ever catch up to it?

You don't need to read every page. I'll sum it up for you:

Talimancer 1: "Good night I'm going to bed"
Talimancer 2: "Good night!"
Talimancer 3: "Nite!"
.....
Talimancer 23523: "K Bai!"
Talimancer 1: "Hey everyone! Good morning!"
Talimancer 2: "Good morning!"
Talimancer 3: "Mornin!"
......
Talimancer 23523: "K Hai!"

Everyday.

That is the biggest thread I have ever seen on any forum. I'm still amazed that Tali has such a massive fanbase. Makes me wonder what would have happened if Liz Sroka had died instead of Robert Culp.

Dude, don't remind me he died. The world lost a great man that day.
And I'd be depressed if Sroka died. Not because I like Tali (although I actually do), but because it'd be a terrible waste of life considering her age. It's easier to swallow Culp's death, seeing as he lived a full-life. Sroka...? Not so much.

Not trying to suggest that I wish Sroka had died. I wouldn't wish death of any living person. But I'd be lying if I didn't find the result of her death to be fascinating. Speaking of which, what do you do when you suddenly lose an important voice actor? Do you just have to try and find somebody that sounds like them?

I would be friendly and sincere, I honestly swear.  I like this board and don't want to get reported/banned.  I would be very diplomatic, maybe just asking people to visit this thread and give their honest assessment of why Tali is so popular.  I'm genuinely interested.
Do you think such a thing would get me in trouble here?

I know what youre saying but still... there are soo many creepy Tali fans out there. I am a Tali fan myself, but nowhere near that level

There are creepy fans of literally *everything* out there. This is the internet. It's full of gross, disgusting stuff. This Tali doll is harmless. EVEN if it was intended for sexual purposes.

Some people like dogs. Others like dogs way, way, way too much if you get what I mean. Yet no one goes around saying "Boy, people who like dogs sure are creepy."

That really depends on how you voice it, and if anyone is having a bad day. I suspect that you'd be fine, but someone *might* get it the wrong way. Shouldn't be a problem though. Worst case, explain it again, politely, that you just like to hear their opinion about what makes them like Tali so much. Most people in that thread are pretty reasonable.

It is possible. I've read all of 2 and 3. Arrived here about halfway through 1 so I never read it.

Generally have 60 or so pages to make up overnight.

I just saw kglaser's post in our thread. It was kinda funny because he thought we would rip his head off or something.

We don't kill people, much.

Anyway, as to why the massive monument to bioware's skill as story writers exists who can say? We like Tali, they created a good character and we want to show it.

We appreciate the formality of your post. Most people who come in are "OmG wTF TaLI SuX0RZ."
As to why I like Tali, her personality captured me over time.

Not really... of all the videogame women portrayed sexually through art, I much prefer this over some furry or lolicon

Are there people here who realize that the Tali thread is really just showing bioware what a good job they did? We're showing our support for their creations.
