I don't really know what to think. I feel uneasy about the issue. I've seen how Wrex, Liara and Kaidan/Ashley were handled in ME2. It's a bit different - there will be a ME3, and those characters are basically guaranteed to play a big role in it... well, apart from Wrex, he'll continue being an "important", but replaceable, cameo, I assume.

Lot of people speculate that most, if not everyone, of the ME2 team will be reduced to cameos due to the fact that they all can potentially die on a save that'll have to carry over to ME3. Lots of blah blah about this, all over the forum really, no need for me to go into details.

I strongly *hope* that Tali will be a squadmember again, but I don't dare to really *expect* it just yet. Until they announce that Tali will definitely be recruitable again in ME3, I'll unfortunately have to stay worried.

But, yeah - seeing how popular Tali really is, sure gives me hope.

Just to clarify - I want all the other ME2 squadmembers back as well, I liked every single one.

Return to Ostagar re-used crap from the main game, added some dialogue and was packaged and sold as extra.

I'd like to think of this thread as the Zaal'Koris vas Qwib Qwib of threads to the Geth that are the Talifans. I mean many here on the forums know you all aren't just a bunch of degenerates. However it is amazing that your Tali thread is infinitely larger then any other character thread out there.
