Honestly, no, and I find the idea sort of ridiculous.  Anyone who has played Bioware RPGs knows that they value characters and character development over all else, and they aren't going to spend so much time getting us to care about a character only to unceremoniously dump them for no good reason.

Also, I think that Bioware has a good idea of where they want the individual characters to go already, and it is likely that nothing we do or say can change it too much.  Even the addition of a Tali romance was apparently an idea that had been toyed with by Bioware themselves, and I think that response to her character only encouraged them to go ahead with it -- which is to say that they weren't inventing something only because fans requested it.  Bioware isn't just a great developer, they are great story writers, and they know what fits in their story and what doesn't.

I mean I guess it's possible not to remember Tali, I mean you just see her for a short period of time on Freedom's Progress, and it's not like you have to visit Haestrom to beat the game.



However it is not possible to ignore the GIANT FRAKKIN' THREAD that dominates the fora.

Yeah but it's like that huge star wars box set that sits on the top of the scifi area of a video store, full of good to meh movies but has the christmas special in it. Ignoring it is impossible.

The real question isn't whether you can read the whole thing, I mean we have many members here that have done just that. The problem lies in that the Tali thread continues to grow. So is there a point where you'll hit a Tali Singularity, a Taliarity if you will where no matter how much you read you can never reach the end?



We could actually calculate this if we knew at what rate the Tali thread grows.
