Speaking as a non-obsessive Tali-thread-poster, a bit of both.
I like Tali as a character, so I gravitated towards that thread.  When it got really large, I realized that it is about as continuous a discussion as exists on the forum, and that I had become familiar with many people who were regular posters.  This makes it easy to socialize and have conversations -- the fact that it is often somewhat off-topic is part of what makes it enjoyable to be in the thread.  If people only ever talked about things directly related to her, frankly I would probably have become bored of it by now, since almost every conceivable topic has already been discussed at least 10 times.

I'm not sure how good of an idea that would be.  Right now all of us Tali fans are contained in one easily avoidable area of the forum.  If that was destroyed, our fanatical craziness would overwhelm all other topics, no one would be saved.

Thats why I have already submitted proposal A221C to the council. We are sealing the door and pouring in the molten lava! Salarian STG units assigned to round up any survivors.

And the Turian councilman has NOT dismissed my claims.

Can you calculate that into posts per hour, or some other time increment. Because technically until version 3 gets shut down, it's growth rate is infinite lol.
