I enjoy AP more because I like the symbol better. Also Squad AP combined with Inferno is amazing. I like having Inferno, but Squad AP helps my team deal out more damage while still allowing me to have major powerhouse damage.

Go for squad versions of Incendiary and Disruptor. There is nothing like seeing a Geth Prime or Geth Destroyer just standing there with a smoking gun unable to do anything.

Assuming you decide to put points into both Incendiary and AP Ammo, which would be better as squad ammo and which would be best as the heavy ammo? I'd think the Squad version of Incendiary would be neat because your teammates can cc enemies while you deal out the most damage with Tungsten Ammo. Then again, the splash damage of Inferno would be really useful on Shepard and your teammates could do more damge with Squad AP than they would with Squad Incendiary.
