The Lazarus Project shows he has access to advanced technology, and a Collector ship just so happens to attack the Normandy after he tells Miranda to see to it that Shepard doesn't slip through their fingers, and that's all just coincidence?
No, I think TIM & Miranda are working for the Reapers.

DISCLAIMER: The facts I've mentioned here are revealed right at the beginning of the game, and it's highly unlikely that anyone who hasn't played at least that far into the game would visit this section of the boards or enter this topic, and thus the aforementioned facts and opinions do not quality as spoiers.

TIM's eyes remind me of a Husk... which made me wonder if he wasn't working for the Reapers somehow. That would be a hell of a lame plot twist.

This theory is so interesting.

He has a lot of interest in the Reapers for some reason and QTF. those eyes might be cyber implants but he doesn't seem too human to me...

He has access to reaper technology that's no secret but he's not working for the reapers. Why would the reapers want their only servants capable of mostly inconspicuously operating in organic space(the collectors) destroyed? Harbinger was clearly aggravated and they didn't lack willingness to kill Shepard. The reapers lost their newest prototype that was years in the works and now the collector base will be used against them. It's not possible for TIM to be a servant of the reapers.

he gives me the vibe that he knows alot abou the reapers....but either is one of em turned....weirdo anti reaper.... or is a prothean or some ancient specie mind in a human body taking revenge against the reapers.

The only reason we have this BS theory is because TIM have implants on his eyes.

That is it, the whole theory requires to you either disregard any logic or being a complete idiot.

Also TIM does not know "a lot about the Reapers" as he ... knows almost nothing about then, he does withheld information about the Collectors but certainly does intent to destroy then to gain their technology.

Not even going about Miranda ...

That would be an epic plot twist......it does kind of make you wonder if nothing else from when the reapers firstappeared survived. I mean the reapers were likely the first organics who advanced enough to do that to themselves.....surely not all gladly jumped on the "let's be turned to glue for this new organis ship thingie" boat willingly. There must have been alternatives to living forever.

I was and still am hoping that we'll get to meet friendly reapers or their enemies from when they first came into existence.

Is either that, or humans are reapers. Kind a like halo forerunners and humans.

Only way to beat a really big fire is with fire itself....maybe who knows.

Humans long ago in another planet faced doomed so they decided to download their brains into huge machines to survive, and eventually decided it was much better this way but we gota harvest tons of people to keep ourselves like this.....well we farmed thousands of animals, what is it much different from harvesting a couple trillion more at the time??? lol

I think he is too. And also, I think it was after Horizon he says "The Collectors will be watching you...". Creepy.

He is not working for the Reapers. First of all, that wouldn't make sense seeing he is always sabotaging the Collectors (who are "agents" for the Reapers) plans. Secondly, Cerberus is human first. I doubt after all the things they've done for humans they would suddenly work with Reapers.

That makes no sense whatsoever. Why would humans wait millions or tens of millions of years to make a human reaper if reapers were made from humans and why the insect shape. No, humans are relatively new to the galactic stage though not the first humanoids since plenty of species including the protheans were humanoid. Humans appear to be the organic shape and form the reapers were working to create since they are masters of genetic manipulation and they are harvesting organic life.....all known species grew in a reaper controlled environment like ants in an ant farm.....mostly oblivious of the controlling forces.

Basically, I don't trust TIM at all. I haven't from the moment I met him. There is just something about him that I can't put my finger on but I don't trust him one bit, I think I will have trouble siding with him in any of my playthroughs but I still want to see what happens. His eyes don't help either. I want to find out more about him and what his sources are. I don't like him at all.

No chance. TIM is a bad guy, mostly, but not a reaper associate.

I think the only way that he could ever end up working for the reapers is if bioware intentionally created one hell of a plot hole.

Making him not evil in some way would be more of a twist than if he was, so I hope they go that way with him.

I think Shepard is a Cylon, but he/she doesn't know it

When Harbinger comes he'll tell Shepard "Would you kindly"

Interesting theory, but it doesn't make a whole lot sense. If he was working with Reapers, he could have just handed Shepard over to the Collectors. More likely is synthetic eyes are a result of a past injury.

I can almost subscribe to the notion that TIM is a Reaper peon, but I don't. He had the opportunity to destroy Shepard in the two years it took to rebuild him/her, and he didn't take it. Instead, he funded billions of credits and the resources of an entire organisation into rebuilding him/her. Why? To kill him/her at the end of it? Also, if he's a Reaper pawn, why would he wage war against another Reaper tool in the Milky Way - the Collectors? The Collectors represented a significant time investment for the Reapers and were the most potent tool that they possessed until they contacted the Geth, and they could be destroyed simply by Harbinger thinking it anyway, so why play one supposed Reaper tool in the form of Shepard working for TIM off against another tool? Makes no sense.

The man's a billionaire. The cybernetics are probably just a perk of being one of the richest humans in the galaxy. Of course he's got his own schemes going on behind Shepard's back, but that doesn't mean he's working with the Reapers.
