Hi all,

started playing today and it now appears that my helmet is appearing in all conversations and cutscenes. This wouldn't be so bad, but it is the Helmet of the Deep, so I can't see any facial expressions whatsoever, anyone got any idea?

i think it's just a bug cause i have it too .

yea I noticed a few scenes happening now with my helm on since the patch but most of the scenes play out without my helm on...so like kartons said it may be a bug

Well, during the intimate scenes now, my PC mage is fully clothed along with his cone-style headgear. Sort of funny to watch. I thought it may have only been a one-time bug, but I haven't reloaded to check yet.

For me it's the Blood Dragon Helm, doesn't matter what else I equip it's always there and it stays during cut scenes. I haven't installed the patch due to all the negative posts about it, perhaps once they release a fixed patch this issue with be fixed.

Ah, installed the patch now, however it can't be related to the helmet/armour bug because mine was doing it before I installed it.



It seems to be a problem that only effects the PC and not the other characters.

I didn't notice the helm showing in cutscenes until after I installed the patch and since the patch seemed to fix 5 things but at the same time break 10 other things I just figured it was something to do with it so I guess that is one problem we can't blame on the patch

So you're saying it was all ok before the patch?

Way to go Bioware. Guess further patches will screw the game even more? Oh come on, please TEST your patches before you release them.

no other people stated for the PC version they were seeing the helm in cutscenes before they patched their game so we can't blame this bug (i'm guessing it is a bug) on the patch

same problem. but the look of my helmet wont change either. tried putting on another, but i keep seeing the helmet that got stuck. think it a bug where the Hair gets replaice with the helmet.

It's my opinion (with 56-ish hours of play) that it's not so much a bug as certain cutscenes were coded without setting it to not display the helmet. "Minor" scenes seem to show my helmet while "major" ones (just finished up in the woods) do not have the helmet equipped

I'm experiencing the same problem... Currently have Bergen's Honor equipped, but if I change to another helm, or no helm, it will change on the inventory screen but still displays in-game with Bergen's Honor equipped.  Anyone know of a fix for this yet?

Sometimes you equipped armor and weapons get "stuck". Whatever you are equipping at that time will continue to display even if you change and remove them. (And they won't come off for cutscenes.) I had a very amusing romance scene with Alistair where I was wearing armor and helm and holding a bow and quiver the whole time.



Generally save and reload gets you out of that state.
