Corporate Censorship. Stalin would approve.

Is this what Bioware has come to? Shall we be sent to the Gulags for expressing opinions now? Perhaps lined up against a wall and shot because we dare to question the mighty blue B? Keep sweeping those troublesome people who can actually articulate an opinion under the rugs, Bioware. I'm sure nobody will notice!
What next? Bans for mentioning other game companies perhaps...or account deletions for saying that you didn't think ME2 was the greatest game ever?
Quite frankly, I am ashamed I have ever defended Bioware and been called a "fanboy" if this is the way that Bioware treats people that even remotely question them.
For shame, Bioware.

You realize the announcement thread is still up and open, right? You can complain there.
You realize that isn't the point at all, right?

I suppose calling everyone retarded in your title can be considered an opinion.
He asked a question, it wasn't a statement. Also, many worse threads have been locked. yes locked, not simply deleted off of the boards like they never existed.
Nothing in the thread broke any rules of the forums, it was simply something a bioware employee didn't like so it was given a gold star and eliminated, instead of treated like any other thread and locked with a reason.

Contrary to what you may think, speaking on these forums is a priviledge, not a right. You have to register to be allowed to post here, and in order to register you have to accept to play by the rules. Free speech is limited in privately owned forums. This is a privately owned forum, accessible to a priviledged few. This is not a public forum.
That isn't the problem. Instead of locking the thread, it was completely deleted.
I find it hard to believe that a thread speaking of rape is just locked, while a thread speaking of the validity of BioWare's reasons for keeping the bazaar U.S. only is completely deleted, not locked.
It reeks, IMO.

Semantics, it was a statement in the form of a question don't assume me for a fool.
Not that I disagreed with what he said, he raised a valid point.

Comparing BioWare to soviet Gulag's and firing squads hurt your argument to the point where I didn't care what you were griefing about.

There's obviously have no other recourse than to begin bombing Canada over these horrendous violations of Human Rights that they've allowed to be perpertrated on their soil.

Lighten up. It was a comparison for the purpose of irony. Considering that Bioware is not a company in a communist dictatorship run country, the are censoring topics as if they were.Goth Skunk wrote...

So off-topic, full of spam, full of hateful ranting, disrespectful to Ray and Greg, and essentially bashing us for trying to fix something y'all were complaining (very loudly) about. And I dislike mentioning this, but we have Rule #11 on our website for just such a purpose. Do I need more reasons?
In the future, instead of screaming "censorship," why not familiarize yourself with the rules you agreed to abide by when you signed up to participate in our community? And if you have a problem with something we've done, why not talk to us about it before dumping your sensationalist hyperbole onto the forums? We're always glad to discuss our forum and our policies and our actions, and while we can't always answer to everyone's satisfaction, we do answer to the best of our ability.
This thread is spam and not conducive to reasonable discussion. Anyone who wishes to discuss this further can tone down the sensationalist hyperbole and send me a PM. Thank you.
End of line.
