Does anyone else here find it interesting that a topic discussing rape and child pornography gets (rightly) locked as inappropriate to these forums, but a topic discussing a Bioware announcement is simply deleted because it may portray Bioware in a a negative light?
Is this what Bioware has come to? Shall we be sent to the Gulags for expressing opinions now? Perhaps lined up against a wall and shot because we dare to question the mighty blue B? Keep sweeping those troublesome people who can actually articulate an opinion under the rugs, Bioware. I'm sure nobody will notice!
What next? Bans for mentioning other game companies perhaps...or account deletions for saying that you didn't think ME2 was the greatest game ever?
Quite frankly, I am ashamed I have ever defended Bioware and been called a "fanboy" if this is the way that Bioware treats people that even remotely question them.
For shame, Bioware.
Corporate Censorship. Stalin would approve.

I moved the thread to an internal forum invisible to regular community members because I felt that it was far too confrontational. The thread still exists, I just don't think that sort of bashing of BioWare, the community, and its members should be encouraged. The thread was also full of spam, Bazaar links, and people complaining about Ray and Greg's apology to the community. Not only is that crazy, but I found it extremely disrespectful to my bosses and the people who have heard all the complaints and decided to do something to address it.
So off-topic, full of spam, full of hateful ranting, disrespectful to Ray and Greg, and essentially bashing us for trying to fix something y'all were complaining (very loudly) about. And I dislike mentioning this, but we have Rule #11 on our website for just such a purpose. Do I need more reasons?
In the future, instead of screaming "censorship," why not familiarize yourself with the rules you agreed to abide by when you signed up to participate in our community? And if you have a problem with something we've done, why not talk to us about it before dumping your sensationalist hyperbole onto the forums? We're always glad to discuss our forum and our policies and our actions, and while we can't always answer to everyone's satisfaction, we do answer to the best of our ability.
This thread is spam and not conducive to reasonable discussion. Anyone who wishes to discuss this further can tone down the sensationalist hyperbole and send me a PM. Thank you.
End of line.
