You do know that the Mayan Calender didn't work the same way as ours, right? Their calender was more accurate than ours and didn't require a leap year. (or was that the Aztecs?)

It does go further. It's called it restarts from the begining. Kindof like December 31st goes to January 1st. If I remember correctly - the mayan chanelder each year (might be decades or centuries) goes thru an different age, part of the whole end of the doom theory IS because the first age that appears is considered the age of darkness.

or as the paranoids have proclaimed humans in general. Also they were right on the money (considering the fact the mayan chaladender is more accurate than ours) on what day it does occur on. It is December 21st, 2012. Funny thing is - my GF turns 21 on December 10th, 2012. >.> I know what we will be doing for 12 days.
