It's called print screen, it's a button on the top right of your keyboard, can't miss it. |PrtScn-SysRq| is what it says. You press it ingame when you want to take a photo, then press start button or bring up task manager to exit your game, and paste into paint or photoshop or whatever editing program you want to use.

In original ME there's also a screenshot button, you just have to remember which F it is. I always forget. I think it's F10, but don't quote me on it.

As for you Neofelis, I can't really help you there. I've never had that problem. :/

There's tons of free screenshot programs out there.  I use one called Irfanview
