It's not random, actually. It was a throwback to ME1, where you can open crates and lockers and sometimes get money out of them.

I know MarchWaltz, and I cought the refrence, but from Shep's point of view there is just no reason for Conrad to add that. For me, it's like coming home and your girl going, "Hey I got the milk. Oh and I sometimes go through dumbsters... you know for extra money." I just keep picturing shep looking at him like, "What he hel is wrong with you?"

Nope. Haven't noticed anything like that.

I fully support shooting Verner in ME3. Preferably through the heart or face. Posted Image

I think I just found another favorite thread. :D (I'm guessing the Legion Shepard is a PC mod?)

Oh and I'm playing FemShep for the first time... and where's a good thread to post my opinion of her? :P

Though you're sure to get a rebuttal, no matter what you post.

Ah okay. Well, lemme begin with a little anecdote. First off, I will say that Jennifer Hale is one of my favorite voice actors. I was first introduced to her on her work as Alexandra "Alex" Roivas in the amazingly (underrated) game Eternal Darkness for the mediocre *cough* Gamecube system.

When I first started playing the first Mass Effect, I made a male Shepard (and he remains to be my main Shepard today). And I didn't know too much about who voiced who and so on (except the obvious Seth Green as Joker) until later when I started to read up on all that is ME. I didn't get really into the series until after I had finished the first game (which was just about a month ago).

Anyways, after finishing the Paragon playthru ME1, I played and finished ME2. Now I've decided to try out FemShep and either it's just me being used to MaleShep's voice and personality in his voice, or I just find that this may not be Jennifer Hale's best work. I feel that she's just a little too monotone on some of the dialog. No offense to those that DO like her, and I'm not saying she's bad, I'm just wondering if anyone else has felt this way about her voice work as Shepard as well... (I think I'm just used to MaleShep and will just need to get used to FemShep's voice...) Also, I think playing FemShep Renegade will help since I have yet to play a full Renegade play on either ME1 or 2.

Sorry, I ramble sometimes. :P

I completely agree with you.  She one of the best there is out there, but her role in ME and ME 2 just doesn't live up to the rest of her work at all.

I also think Male shep has a better voice over, but I thought we were the minority.Posted Image A lot of people think he is monotone and fem shep is better. The most recent evidence I would like to point out is the paragon ending to Overlord. Fem shep just sound annoyed, but male shep sounds like it is taking every ounce of his will power not to put a bullet in Archer's head. I seriously think that scene is one of Shep's most "This is why you don't fu** with me" scenes... and it was a Paragon shep to boot! :)
One more for gits and shiggles...

How did you get Legion's model to work without glitching up? The last I looked it still wasn't possible to use his head (that was a couple months ago, though).
