Probably more like the 1600-1700s instead.  Samara is what, 7, 800 years old?  And the game takes place in the late 2100's?  Third Crusade, wasn't that more around 1100 AD?

She's 900 years old. The oldest an Asari gets is a half a century over 1000 years.

Just saying because Samara, when Shepard talks to her about having 3 Ardat-Yakshi daughters, she says something like, "And I still have centuries to live with it", so I figure Matron must come around the 300's, and Morinth is the eldest daughter at what 400 or so? So, I figure Samara's just about 800 years old tops. :)

Do you mean Bastard or Basterd? Both have their own touch and are correct give you have some fantasy, but I want to know which one is correct if there was a spelling error.

the citadel could be a MAIN mass relay for another nearby galaxy... where the hanar/reapers are from... regarding their homeworld...

The Third Crusade actually started in 1189, after Saladin conquered Jerusalem in 1187.[/history nerd]

Actually the correct spelling of the word in English is 'bastard' (with an 'a' in the second syllable, obviously). The other used in a particular movie's title is an intentional  mispelling or you'll also likely see it typed by the illiterate/ignorant.

BTW, third crusade 1189–1192. As I recall one of the Asari you talk to does tell you about the age ranges for the various titles - it may be Liara.

I am a great fan of correct spelling. Basterd has no real other meaning afaik.

I was aiming at the movie as one already correctly referred to. But I guess my thoughts jumped a little too far for others to understand what I can see. Actually, I don't even know how to explain ... arrgh.
