:huh:but with the sr2's thanix cannon, it could probably rip through the Enterprise's kinetic force fields/shields... eh.

Star Trek weapons and defenses are at least a couple of orders of magnitude stronger than anything Mass Effect has. Mass Effect is literally one of the weakest science fiction universes out there, right around Battlestar Galactica levels of firepower (and I'm talking the Ron Moore one, not the original).

eh, contact, mass effect, final fantasy, andromeda, battlestar galactica, babylon 5, avatar, star gate, 5th element, star wars, star trek... from weakest to strongest in sci fi.

Uhmm, ... Nova Bombs!?
And what version of Battlestar Galactica are you talking about? The original series or the reimagined, because the latter would stand before Mass Effect. And I'd say that the Star Wars arsenal can be considered a slight bit more destructive than Star Trek's, ... heck, even Raum Patrouillie Orion could destroy a pumpki-ähm planet. Iron of Doom anyone?

LMAO what the hell? how can you walk around space?

It's a little hard to explain in detail. While in the CIC if you walk at one of the chairs at the right angle (I only managed to do it twice so far) you just pop up over the guy sitting there and you just sort of walk through the wall and you're walking around in space just outside the Normandy. After a while I hit a snag and fell down a level somehow which allowed me to reach my targets. I was even allowed to touch the ship's Mass Effect core since some of the walls aren't solid. I eventually got back on the floor in Engineering (and took some shield damage in the process).

And Normandy has stealth and speed. Even Normandy SR-1 destroyed Reaper.

And Shepard could just wish the Enterprise out of existence, and it would disappear. Because, really, the ME universe and the stuff that happens in it is a zillion times more believeable than ST. It just needs element zero.

But the Turian councilor will just dismiss the Enterprise from existence!

star wars? a death star is nothing more than a mock up of a dyson sphere with a giant tachyon particle beam that's been replicated and constructed by some copy cat villain... where as in star trek you have more weaponry array...photon cannon, proton torpedoes, photon torpedoes, quantum torpedoes, phasers, tachyon beam, graviton beam, stunt, phaser beam, lasers, klingon swords, bombs, etc...

star wars is just only light sabers, laser smg's, fighter-jet missiles, and that's just about it...  Star Wars < Star Trek (which is older than star wars by the way)... and the same guy who written star trek written andromeda aswell (Nova Bombs/Quantum Torpedoes/raw DiLITHIUM crystals... pretty much the same ****)...

and way off topic... i'm likely talking about the original or just about all of battlestar/stargate (looks like that's where battlestar came from in regard of creative inspiration)...

How about this: Doctor who > all sci-fi.

He has a time machine and pretty much god tech. The daleks also count.

Mass effect pwns startrek because of the eezo and biotics. Just Give captain Picard a faulty eezo drive. He wouldn't know.

And starwars pwns startrek because of lightsabers.

My inner geek hates startrek if no one noticed.

dude, what? eezo is literally anti-matter/dilithium crystals... warp core/eezo drive, hello? same thing? light sabers are friggin lame... what's likely to win a wizard wand aka light saber, or a handheld phaser-laser from star trek?

Kelly is a bloody Yeoman, joker outranks her on so many levels, which is fitting ME2 pretty much sets up Joker as Sheps next in command.

joker's the pilot... kelly's probably literate at navigation and systematic functioning... she's 3rd best option for XO (just in case jake and miranda are ashore with shep)

you just described the entire human experience here on earth perfectly: Children love power because they have none themselves and hate weakness because it is all they know ... the entire world is child like.... it's like people fighting for a rogue system called the matrix, being a naive child of pure ignorance, literally constructing their own demise blindly against others trying to maintain systematic functioning and their civilization's order without disastrous complications occurring in their time frame/future/reality... even the so called strong of this world is merely a ignorant weak child in reality, yet with a major case in irony ...  you have a weak child appear as a the most powerful, and the weakest puny characters APPEARING as only small weakling decoys/mirages in such a fake world (they're likely far mature and or stronger in reality, and could be far better than the so called strong in a fake fetal world)...they only have things called obstacles thus sustaining some illusion of power for others which is why they themselves are considerably ergo decoys... illusion of self for one's illusion of power.:ocheck mate...equation of balance.

The XO would be Joker not Kelly.  Kelly is a friggin counselor and would have no experience or training for command or combat situations.
