It's more like he gave the Hammerhead a compliment.  Considering it works just fine, this is understandable.

I don't think the Paragons will lose but Harbinger's face when the Rachni armada shows up will probably be the same as Sovereign's was when he blew up a few alliance ships

Now I'm wondering how Elite Blue/Black powers and Fathom biotech would stack up against Reapers.

"Reaching deep" as Aspen calls it, she can control the oceans of an entire planet.
Even if you're orbiting in space, that's got to be hard for anyone to fight.

They've never specified how the weapons or shield tech of the Fathom bioships works, but I've speculated that it's a energized water beam, which is made of the most volatile elements in the periodic table (hydrogen and oxygen). I've also theorized that their shields work on a deflection principle, if you shoot a beam or particle weapon at a bioship, the energy is diffused to flow around the vessels, neutralizing the deadly effect.

The only other race I can recall with Biotech based vessels is Species 8472.
And if the Fathom bioships are that formidable, the Reapers would indeed be in trouble.
