Honestly, BioWare should have covered her intentions quite a bit better. I mean, even people not having let themselves spoiled practically knew she is working with the Shadowbroker by about six minutes into the DLC. She practically nails a giant sign on your forhead telling you in big shiny letters "Imposter", ... with a sledgehammer.
I wish they were more subtle.

Yup. She never really lied to you directly. She was just moonlight-working for Shadow Broker to pay her debts from information she got to do her job as Spectre.
But I agree, it was quite obvious from the beginning that she is not all she says to be. The certain glance she gives Shepard, which should have been left out if you ask me, practically stamps hear head with glowing traitor-sign.

They made it so clear so the majority of people would see through it and feel smart when their suspicions turned out to be true - that would be my guess.
