shepard just realize they're (shepard is) a hostage, who's under captivity... therefor negotiating with a person who's using a trivial system to their advantage, he's not obliged to promise anything, they're using shepard... shepard still has to wake up....no longer in a defenseless state...

some guy doesn't owe anyone anything... :mellow:especially if someone deliberately complicate stuff for manipulated advantages.

his "defenseless" state is only temporary.

it's like Tali's face, if you aren't normally able to see it, the artists won't put the details into it, because it would be a waste of time.
