Only finding Jack attractive if she has long hair pretty much plays in to what the character designers and writers were going for.  You failed the test.

You failed biology. Evolutionary speaking hair makes women more physically attractive to most males. It's hardwired, as it suggests health and good genes and all that. If you find Jack attractive because she is irreparably emotionally damaged and loves to tell you about it, it doesn't make you superior to anyone.
