Azure is, as I understand it, an asari sexual organ. Soren's cat's name was Azure and s/he is sad s/he had to put it down.

That is a beautiful thinking. There are far too much cats called Fluffy and such it is actually not that common to have a cat named in such a way.
Ours is named Merlin, a British Shorthair/Chartreux (with a lot of Chartreux!), for once because he was the only one of the fifteen kitties that actually looked like the mother (and a clone at that) and it had us bewitched the moment we saw him.
I just hope he'll be with us a long time still.
