I don't get it, elevator load screens are like instant. 1-2  secs MAX.

Elevator from C-sec to alliance dock in ME1 is what, 1 min? Normandy elevator was like 6+ secs, imagine having to ride that between 4 different floors. Now THAT would freak me out.

You must have a fast computer. It's definitely slower than 1-2 seconds for me. :)

The Normandy SR1 elevator never seemed that slow

Barely a second of load time on my computer.
The SR-1 elevator is about 2-3 seconds, counting the doors opening and closing and all.
Though it's much faster than in the 360 version, where it's slowness was universally mocked.

Hrk. At least the rides on the Citadel elevators had news reports or squadmate dialogue to entertain me. The SR1's elevator made me wonder where the stairs were.

I simpy assumed that my XBOX must be traveling at FTL and that's why it seemed so slow to me.
