The Normandy SR1 elevator never seemed that slow

Barely a second of load time on my computer.
The SR-1 elevator is about 2-3 seconds, counting the doors opening and closing and all.
Though it's much faster than in the 360 version, where it's slowness was universally mocked.

Yeah... that is why the Protheans really went extinct.  They ran out of food and water on their elevators.

While I don't agree with the caption, I DO like the picture... You don't see nearly enough casual interaction between squadmates in ME2.

I don't get it, elevator load screens are like instant. 1-2  secs MAX.

Elevator from C-sec to alliance dock in ME1 is what, 1 min? Normandy elevator was like 6+ secs, imagine having to ride that between 4 different floors. Now THAT would freak me out.

Xbox 360.  I don't find the load screens any faster then elevators in ME1... just less clever. 

The only elevator ride that got on my nerves in ME1 was the one in the Normandy ironically.  It felt long... and there was no music or talk.  But overall, I thought the trams/elevators/scanning was a clever way to hide load screens in a RPG.  If only bioware only added more variety to that concept (or less of it), instead of ripping it out totally.  (same goes for Mako).   

edit: part of the point of the motivational was that we complained about elevators... and Bioware gave us... pictures of elevators.  Thus the Troll poster on the same topic.
