This footage proves that Mass Effect has been reduced to a Call of Duty clone, to think otherwise would be inconceivable!

2. You do it yourself with an omni-tool, without an annoying dwarf yelling "enchunment" every time...

Lets just put the entire mission on hold, and ignore the people shooting at me, while I strip down my weapon to make it shinier!
I like the idea, but I think it should be like weapon selection in ME2. Done prior to the mission.

Jeez, you're right. I wonder whether Jacob would have been appreciated more if he modded out your guns every time you talked to him.thurmanator692 wrote...
You have to admit though, the ability to physically modify your guns is pretty sweet. If a bit strange in the middle of a fight. If only they had introduced this in 2, Jacob would have had a cool purpose!
"Hey Shepard, I got some new stocks and scopes for your rifle. Tell me what you think!"
"Hey Shepard, I figured out how to put ammo in your gun barrel. Tell me what you think!"
"Hey Shepard, I finally got your guns off the stupid thermal clip system. Tell me what you think!"

Wrong, tanks should be named after land based species roughly corresponding their attributes (Panther tank for a armored assault tactic vessel, gepard for fast attack vehicels, tiger for raw strenght, or in good old CnC tradition, the "Mammoth" if you just need massive mass of awe inspiring psychological warfare). Landbased because fighting on a two dimensional environment.
Spacevessels however should be named after seaborne predators. Like the "Orca Cruiser" or the "Megalodon-class" Dreadnought!

Uh, I play Call of Duty, avidly. And Mass Effect is nothing like it
What exactly do you people expect shooting in an RPG setting to look like? You can't run through the game pistol whipping everything, since it seems you desperately want melee in a sci-fi action RPG instead of shooting. In spite of nearly everything you face holding a gun. Plus, you cannot do any of the moves you see in Mass Effect in CoD. You can't take cover, you can't do swat rolls, you can't vault over cover never mind actually attach to it. You can't steathily kill someone who isn't aware of your presence yet because EVERY ENEMY KNOWS WHERE YOU ARE.
I don't recall having special, class specific abilities in CoD either. And what's this? I've got an actual SQUAD that I can tell what to do, where to take cover and what powers to use; I don't seem to have that in CoD how strange...
Mass Effect is not a Call of Duty clone.
*sigh* In any case...
