A little history for the Forum... I post alot of things that refer to Soldiers and their deeds. The reason for that is, I have been on active duty for 19 years. (Looking forward to retiring next Sept.) and in that time, 19 years and over 1000 flight hours as an Army Aviator on UH-60's... I've lost 29 friends and comrades to accidents and conflict. So, while I love ME and it's story, alot of the emotion that this game elicits I have felt for real. Soldiers are a unique sort, some thing we are arrogant, other think we are... well, I'll just say I repsect everyone right to their own opinion. Me, I think Soldiers are the bravest and most selfless people I have ever had the honor to know...
And sadly, freedom isn't free...

Kudos to you ,my friend.   My other half is National Gaurd, and he returned from Afghanistan a month ago, and I attempted for 2 years to get into the Gaurd.   I have the utmost respect and adoration for anyone who fights for their country.
I can tell you from the opposite point of view, that being the one left behind is no easier than being the one who leaves.

Thank you for all that you do and for your service.

also, since I've missed like  a week on here, I'm LOVING what you guys have done with the place.   the Warhammer and 40k references make me a very very happy Obsy.  Anyone else notice the similarities between the Thresher Maw and a Mawloc?    no?  just me?  i dunno. maybe im crazy.

i miss you all, and will be back in full for a few days, till the boy gets back from vacation.  Right now life is a bit chaotic, between work and figuring out how to deal with said boy.  its hard, learning how to live a life entirely on your own while your other half is gone for years, then having them back full time just shoved back into your world.
so ...  that said.  miss you all and these motivators have been doing just that for me.    making me laugh and keeping me going through this pile of crap.

*and Joe, i'll review G&K soon.  I read it and loved it....  i promise the review will happen.*

So I was playing ME1 again today... Making a new playthrough.

Everything went fine... until I arrived on Nodacrux.



I hate that wretched place.

Anyway, my first attempt. Don't know if it has been done before... I'm stil at page 490 of this thread. Hope you guys like it... I'm not so good at these kind of things.
