This is Dietz's first ME novel. I hope this is his last novel PERIOD.
And look at the Google doc of mistakes, among plenty of other things in the discussion thread for details (spoilers abound)

Yeah, I'm halfway through Revelation. I've been a fan of Drew's work since KOTOR and I loved his Bane trilogy. After seeing the Google doc of Dietz's errors, I seriously wonder how he was even able to slap the Mass Effect title on there.

judging from all the glaring mistakes in the analysis googledoc... well, apparently, he didn't give even 1 (one) f**k about what he was writing. not even enough to read the previous books, or the codex/wikia/whatever.

I love you guys. and now im' very sad about Deception. I was so looking forward to it. Why did Drew give up the books to this new person? that's never a good plan!
and at least lucas stays true to his storylines. he may be a crap writer.... but he doesn't destroy plotlines.

Drew is working for BW Austin now, he may come back to series after his current projects are finished
