ive read almost all the starcraft and diablo novels that were around a few years ago and i cant even begin to count how many errors they held. i guess its something you have to live with in return for some "added content" to a game universe that interests you

I've been following up on this for the last hour or so. I've read the prologue and a couple pages of the first chapter and read the error post on google (link is in the thread that Joe linked a couple pages ago). All I can say is that most added content is produced by someone who's actually read the previous books or played the games. it's becoming clear to me that Dietz has done neither, in addition to having a very simplistic writing style that immediatly annoyed me.

Honestly, from what I've seen so far, I believe I've read better fan fiction. (Actually, I know I have. Ken and Gabby for the win. Update soon, Joe...  )

Sweet merciful crap. I picked an awkward time to try and make my return.

Regarding Deception, I've only read a few of the confirmed errors. There is no adequate .jpeg or .gif on my laptop's extensive collection to describe this failure.

I'm still going to read it because misery loves company and I'm lonely without you guys.

No, I'm afraid not.

Gillian's mental state had been severely worsened by Cerberus' treatment of her, but she's definately established as autistic.

It wasn´t dissapearing. The quarian suits isolated her from the enviroment and she was calmer.

Altair is there because of the reference

The guy is a character out of the mass effect novels

Altair got a toothbrush because of the stuff in the fourth novel

Question: Could Deception only be so bad because BW hasn't revealed that its proof that Mass Effect as we know it is apart of a multiverse and Deception takes place in a bizarro world where one can grow out of autism and other other feats of whimsy.  Anyway...
