Why would anyone but Claudia Black play Morrigan?

No, I really can't stand Ewan McGregor as an actor. My picks were mostly fantasy based. All of the actors on the list were too old to be playing any of the Dragon Age characters lol.

As for Alistair, I could get behind Edward Norton, Gary Oldman, or Leonardo DiCaprio, of course, Oldman is kind of old, though. On another note, I never really seen Leonardo DiCaprio play, that I know of, in any funny roles. I think a young Val Kilmer could've played Alistair, but he's way too old now.

In his youth, Rutger Hauer could've easily played Teryn Loghain.

Oh yea, who doesn't think Viggo Mortenson would play the best Duncan. I can't see anyone else playing as Duncan...

Leonardo DiCaprio played in a TV series opposite Kirk Cameron called "Growing Pains". He did ok in comedy.

For the role of the grey warden recruit I'd like The guy from the punisher movie (First one) "Thomas Jane".


For Duncan, it's easy.. Duncan Mcleod, Adrian Paul.

Ian McShane as Duncan?! Brilliant! Such a exquisite actor. I think Claudia is a bit too... erm... seasoned to play Morrigan.



Personally, I think it's more important for actors to be able to act than look good. So I can settle for Gary Oldman.

Gary Oldman as Duncan AND HARRISON FORD AS THE WARDEN!!!!!!! BADASS TO THE MAX ****ES!!!! He could totally pull it off, he's Harrison Ford, come on. Right before he kills the archdemon, he's like GET OFF OF MY PLANE! And then after he kills the archdemon, the taint goes inside of him but nothing happens despite not doing it with morrigan, who would be played as her sexiness Scarlett Johanson because she was all like lets do the dark ritual and he was like THAT BELONGs IN A MUSEUM!!!! And then oghren who would be played by Selvester Stalone (again, totally possible) would come in with his pants down and Ford would run over to Morrigan and be like DON'T OPEN YOUR EYES!!!!!! Is nobody with me on this? I'd enjoy that so much, Harrison Ford, his best lines completely out of context, a laugh riot, genius. I'll direct it who wants to write the script? Gaider? Help me out here dude.

Thank you.I think he would make a fine Duncan.Even though Claudia Black is a very attractive woman, I think she is a little seasoned for the role.That's why I didn't pick her.I agree, it is more important for the actors to be able to act rather than be physically similar.It's hard to find actors who fit the characters personalities.Some actors play the same type of role in movies so it's hard to imagine them as anything different.

 Morrigan = Angelina Jolie.  She pulled off Lara Croft tombraider on the bigscreen and can certainly do so with Morrigan.  Angelina has the looks, the voice and attitude ...

Claudia Black is awesome but the look of a fantasy witch? not so much.  Bioware went the other route as well and used Victorria Johnson as the visual model for Morrigan ...

I'm very audibly driven by nature, and Claudia Blacks voice.. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm (ignore my forums avatar I'm a guy lol)

Another good choice would be Michelle Ryan (Queen Lucy grown up in 1st narnia movie, and cat burglar in planet of the dead w/David Tennant - Doctor who)

Ian looks to scrawny and old to pull off Duncan on the big screen.  The only man that can play Duncan is Gerald Butler aka Leonidas of 300.  He has the deep voice, Australian accent and build to pull it off..

Gerard Butler is not australian he is scottish... and duncan has an english accent... i dunno where you got aussie from!?

She was in narnia, briefly. Rent Doctor Who Planet of the dead, she wears a black spandex body suit the entire episode. WOOF! And that voice... mmmmmmmmmm
