I think the end-game decision of blowing up the station or giving it to TIM (giving Cereberus advanced Reaper technology!) will setup a major plot arch for ME3. I wouldn't be surprised if TIM is using his resources and exploiting Commander Shepard to overthrow the Alliance/Council and create a Cereberus controlled universe that is Anti-Alien (ultra Renegade), with Emperor TIM ruling all galactic matters in favor of Humanity.

I gave the Illusive Man the benefit of the doubt up until he lied about the Collector Ship. He could of just said "this is a really dangerous mission but the collector ship is offline right now, you should investigate" or something along those lines. Instead I got all that crap about how Turians disabled it and blah blah blah.

Its painfully obvious that TIM is an embryo Caeser, just waiting for the right opportunity to seize power. That opportunity being the salvaging of the collector base.

i think he was definitely partnered with the collectors at some point, albeit under a different guise or through agents. besides trading for tech -- he had the collectors pegged as slaves of the reapers long before shep's resurrection -- he has no problem using the reapers' tools against them. betraying or destroying them is still par for the course for him.

Well, it's what Liara tells you... Not that I doubt that she is telling the truth, she seems quite sincere in here anger... But TIM's may have no accurate information on her.

Anyway we'll know who's works for whom soon enough - in the Redemption #4 and the Shadow Broker DLC (when and if it comes out).

And if it so happens that Liara had showed TIM the finger, then he is right, she cannot be trusted.
