I don't think
he's even worthy of a response. Certain games need a brain to be
appreciated. Obviously someone that would insult a company just because
it's Japanese lacks quite a bit in that department.

Some overrated and horrible games on a consoles need to be appreciated?
Hell I suppose you like twilight too?
I never meant to insult the company because it was japanese, it's wiki says it's based in Hawaii, last time I checked that was a US State.

I only played WoW for maybe 4-5 months when it first came out. Had no job, no life, played 14 hours a day, and got to level 60 in like 6 weeks. Played it to death, never touched it again. Boy am I happy I never went back. I want a mature MMO, not the kiddy trash I keep seeing all the time.

But I still support Blizzard as a whole. SC2 may be split into three parts and we're all mad about that. However each single player campaign, as has been described in the articles I've read, is extremely long so perhaps we MIGHT not be getting totally gyped. And as I mentioned before, I have friends who are in the beta and they report that the game is AMAZING. I think Blizzard, just like Bioware, deserves that we don't pass judgment until we actually see the finished product and try it out for ourselves. Then we can truly know if they've betrayed us. Though I personally doubt it....

2 expansion packs for what? campaigns for protoss and zerg that SHOULD have came with the release of starcraft 2? that is still fcking retarded.

If the only reason the expansion packs are for buying the new single player campaigns, then that means no one would buy them. Assuming this, then it would mean that the expansions would also deliver new units and gameplay, and in doing that, blizzard is FORCING us to buy a game with 2 expansions just so we can play on battlenet with no LAN.

that is totally franchise milking

Nah I will just continue to rage about something I have never touched, seen, smelled, or heard before THANKUVERYMUCH!!

Bad jokes aside I do not judge untill I actually have the finished product in my hands. Be it video games, books, movies, or whatever else.

...wow.

I love how you can call me a weaboo on the fact I enjoy something that's Japanese. I don't own a replica katana, or any sword for that matter, because I consider the concept of owning those kinds of things stupid. I don't know anything about the Japanese language, or it's history or like to pretend I do. You seem to have a very broad interpretation of 'weaboo', but it doesn't matter to you, does it? You'll ignore me, continue to label me so because culture doesn't matter to me in a video-game, and then pretend your the superior human being.

I don't disagree with your concerns, I share them as well. Considering I need to build a new rig before I can play any newer PC games I've even considered waiting to buy SC2 until it's in battle chest form. I think it is pretty dirty of them in appearance. The real question is whether, when you pick up SC2 and play it, you feel you are getting enough content for your $50 or $60 or whatever. All other considerations aside, you'll have to take the game on its face and see if it holds up.

However, I disagree on the LAN issue. I know why Blizzard did it, though it's definitely lame since I really doubt LAN play is the root of piracy, but it's a non-issue with me. Someone will create a mod within a few weeks that'll add LAN back into the game. That's all but guaranteed.

85 million copies sold for the final fantasy franchise tend to disagree with this incredibly narrowminded statement of yours.

So, because people play on consoles they are bad. Because people play games from a series that has survived over 20 years and made billions of dollars they are stupid. And because that series has defined a gameplay style for millions of people around the world it is insignificant.

I want to live in bizarro world too!!!!!!!!!!!

Blizzard's justification for cutting SC2 into 3 games was because "lolololol story". Blizzard made a good story for SC and copyasta'd it for the story of wc3, which turned out pretty decent.

But people DO NOT buy an RTS for the story. They buy it for the multiplayer gameplay. Cutting out LAN is completely retarded. Hell yes I remember the good old days playing SC pirated LAN with my buddies. But that is blizzard's excuse for co.ck sucking. If they really wanted to avoid piracy, then install better security measures. Simply omitting LAN gameplay is a lazy and selfish act to save more money for their already profiteering "trilogy"

I will respect your anger and leave it at that. For me, all Blizzard has to do is give me a game that won't corrupt my saves, permanently bork itself in multiple places so that I can't complete it, or get my blood boiling with the other 547 bugs DA:O has that Bioware has yet to even ATTEMPT to fix.....and they'll still have my love. I just hate bugs man....

Proof and point Warcraft 2 and 3. I like the previous installments, the gameplay, and wanted to know where the story would take me. Try not to make total generalzations of EVERYBODY EVERYWHERE.

Also saying WarCraft 3 was a rip from StarCraft is like saying DAO is a rip from LOTR. On the surfaces and some of the cliches are the same but when you get down to the meat of it... theres plenty of differences.

Kerrigan from SC was not twisted and deformed to willingly choose to become a Zerg like Arthas was. I could go on but it will just fall on deaf ears.

of couse I do, because Bioware makes good games, DESPITE having the same formula for several games.

And since it's not an issue with Bioware, it's not an issue even for Final Fantasy, despite you using it as an improper vehicle for ignorant criticism.

This, of course, not to mention that FInal Fantasy games swapped around several different formulas during their history, so, I'm sorry, but you're obviously spouting a lot of ignorant nonsense.
First get a bit of information on what you want to talk about, then do so. At the moment you're not exactly informed on the topic.

85 million happy meals sold for the Mcdonalds franchise must be some 5 star food, huh?

This argument doesn't stand, kid. McDonalds sells millions because their "happy meals" are cheap. Guess what, Final fantasy games cost the same as the rest.
Wrong analogy is wrong. Try again.

Actually, I own all of the current gen, and last gen consoles. PC is simply superior in every way, shape and form.

yes, of course, you call people sad little men because they play on console and then you'd like us to believe that you own them all. Maybe in your little dreams.

Are you 12? A company based in the US is a US company, doesn't matter if it has 2,000,000 mexicans staffing it.

Not really, kid, a company led by one of the most respected Japanese developers, staffed by Japanese, that makes Japanese style games is to be considered a Japanese one.

They aren't good games, at all. Maybe the first couple, 8 was decent, but now they ALL suck.

You sure express yourself and bring arguments that would make a third grader blush in embarassment. "it sucks" doesn't fly, I'm sorry.  Try to at least elaborate your ignorant dribble, if you can.

Personally, I enjoy lots of different games on all platforms, so I can only pity your narrow mindedness.

and it's true while there are many differences. Difference setting from sci fi to fantasy, new or ommited characters. But the main storyline is basically the same, blizzard writers simply had more time to work on this than starcraft 2

anyway, blizzard writers then started to retcon the story, but the point is that both stories are pratically the same.

Odd because the more common one in my experiance is the Arthas/Kerrigan comparison. Ya know since both are taken in by the "bad guys" and becomes a major antagonist. Where as Sylvannas actually works to bring down the big bad in whatever way possible. Kerrigan was a B list character turned A list antagonist. Where as Sylvannas was a B list charater who stayed a B lister.

"pratically the same" is a worthless arguement. Many things are "pratically the same" but still do it in their own way to be enjoyable. Chocolate Icecream is pratically the same as vanille icecream but they are both good. Oranges are pratically the same as tangerines but offer different flavors. Countless books, movies, games, tv shows, music, etc etc etc... are pratically the but it is the execution that matters.

If all you want to do is focus on the most basic and superfical  off things then you might as well start saying all new books, movies, games, videos, music, candbars, gum, cars, etc etc etc... are bad because there were books, movies, games, videos, music, candbars, gum, cars, etc etc etc... that came before them.
