I had a lot of fun over the years playing WoW, but that was due to the people I was playing with. It didn't have much to do with Blizzard.

Sure I love them both....or should I say loved.

Bioware lost major points with me this year with DA:O and it's myriad problems. Blizzard lost some points too with their whole Starcraft II in 3 parts business. Right now it's a toss up....

Any MMO can be fun with good people, but yeah, I was really not impressed with WoW.

Being a ex wow mmo player, it does annoy me how much that stupid mmo has devoid blizzard of making something of quality, i do hope diablo 3 is good mind you, but i do wish warcraft 4 was made, but i just am glad bioware keep making good games, tho awakening is the poorest.

Now that I come to think of it: I've played 1,5 years of online D2 massively and 4 years of end-game WoW, but still nothing makes me feel more proud when I watch the ending credits of a BioWare RPG scrolling down in front of me and just sitting there smiling like an idiot.

P.s.: Got Jade Empire a few days ago, finished it for the first time recently, this feeling is still strong in me

Waitwait. DA:O had problems? Um... Sure, Mass Effect 2 did, but maybe it's cause I didn't play DA:O until after ME2, I have to say, ME2 was a sad, sad letdown in quality, compared to DA:O... ME2 had so many plotholes (okay, more like, plot discrepancies and inexplicables and stupidities and just unfulfilling-ness) in comparisson. ME2 should've been at least half the length of DA:O... it's hardly a third, and less than 25% if you do a renegade run and take out all the loyalty missions. 

...yeah, but I totally hate what WoW is and what it has done to my brothers. Not only in gaming, but the ones in the room next to me... 

I'll probably vote for BioWare, but they seriously let me down after realizing how bad ME2 was in comparrison to what they could've done. DAO was a return to the glory of the first Mass Effect... so why wasn't ME2? Tsk, tsk. 

But at least it wasn't a terrible game, with TOO much that is never told to you, like in WoW (tried it for ten days... wtf)... it just lacked in areas that could've easily been filled properly.

...I'm ranting. I'll stop. FOR BIOWARE!

would you rather have a very short campaign for each race or a long one for each. i vote for the long campaign

i haven't ran into any problems with either DA:O or ME2

The OTHER side of the bracket is more important. Bio and Blizzard are both excellent developers, but the prospect of Valve losing to a company that uses stolen IP to make scam-ad-driven cash extraction schemes with no actual gameplay... Horrifying.

Have you taken 5 minutes to stop in one of the DA:O support forums? Take a short look at the compiled bug list in the Xbox one. It's enough to make your head spin. And we're past the 5 month mark now so don't give me the "be patient, they'll patch it crap". DA:O is a piece of **** program. Whatever awesome content it has is crushed by its failure as a "quality" product, which it so obviously is not.

Bioware lost me as a customer for this crap. Awakenings, no way. I'll just buy it used for $10 in a year and Bioware will get nothing. In the Bioware vs. Blizzard vote, and I don't care if you hate MMOs, I'd rather wait 5 years to get a FINISHED product than get it 12 months earlier only to have 100's of hours of my time PERMANENTLY RUINED by idiotic bugs that should never make it into a final product.

Not sure where to post this, but I just wanted to drop a quick line to say GET OUT AND VOTE FOR BIOWARE!

Influential gaming website The Escapist is having their yearly matchup of video game developers called March Mayhem, and as expected, Blizzard and BioWare have been annhilating the competition. But it all comes down to this and only one can win. The WoW CMs are getting their peeps out to vote, so let's do the same! Voting starts tomorrow morning.
