Yeah, because no support, sub-par DLC, epic community event nonsense, expansion-labeled premium modules at full-game prices, and patches that break games are totally the best thing since sliced bread.Feraele wrote...

I swear, the only reason why we have these threads is because both developers start with the letter B. Seriously, what is with the letter B these days?
No B is for BEST..in Bioware's case.
I'm not flaming you here Varenus, but I am genuinely curious why you hang out here on these forums when I've yet to see you post anything positive about Bioware and it's products. I mean hell, I'm not a fan of Bethesda but I don't poke sticks at them I just stay away. Again not a flame, just was wondering.

You know, I don't really understand why some people have such an aversion to using twitter for this. It's not like they're forcing you to actually read anything on there. You can sign up, tweet your vote, and after this whole thing is over never look at it again. That's what I'm doing.

Signing up for Twitter is given tacit support to Twitter. You have created an account, which adds to their numbers that can be touted later as "look how big Twitter is getting" -
using Twitter for these contests is not only advertising for the companies and web sites on Twitter (all those tags and such are attempts to bring the said sites and such higher on the Twitter awareness), but is advertising for Twitter and making said companies and websites continue to believe that the majority like using Twitter for such things.
In the end Twitter is pretty lame, and signing up "just for a contest" feels EXTRA lame.
Hence why I feel extra lame.

We're going to be running neck and neck..if people don't vote..git out there!!
I think if we're going to want to get anymore votes for BioWare we're going to have to look outside these forums, b/c honestly by now everyone here who was going to vote probably has.
Though if you didn't twitter vote, read here for how to do it:

Seriously I do wonder how can someone vote for the ones that literally destroyed the MMORPG market and that didn't make a decent game in the last 5 years.
Anyway, looks like the european wowkids were able to close the gap a little bit, but they're still far from catching up. Work more.

I voted for them because of their absolutely brilliant games, which have such world renown such a the Diablo series, and of Starcraft, which still fills STADIUMS in Korea where people watch competitions for the game. It is a true masterpiece, and killer fun.
they take their time perfecting their games before they release them.

Clearly you should vote for a company for games they made several years ago, despite them not making a decent game since.
Let's not forget for making their newest game (not yet released) a direct clone of it's predecessor with updated graphics. And taking ten years to do so.
Let's not mention trying to bring back to the RTS market antiquated and tedious concepts like base building and mindless troop massing :innocent:
Let's not forget having their two major IPs (Warcraft and Starcraft) directly ripped off from two other IPs they don't have a license to (Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000).
Yeah, I definitely see why Blizzard should be voted for. Not.
Did i mention working for the one company (activision) that's actively working to demolish the gaming market?
