I have ran every square inch of this area, all the sylvans are dead, yet I'm missing ONE... ONE piece for From the Living Wood Quest... either the game didn't drop that last one *as the last one that I felled, ONLY had 12 silver and 30 bronze*

I've done more than double checked if I missed any drops by using the LT and only things left around are the things like gravestones, swords, etc... and chests I cannot open *hopefully it's not in one of those as I do not currently have a Rogue:bandit: in my party... I have including myself 3 warriors:devil: and two mages:wizard:...*

Is it entirely possible the game didn't randomly drop that last piece?

Or is there ONE hidden Sylvan left?!

I've defeated The Old One as well....

Quick reply please, this is driving me insane as I've run around Wending Woods for over an hour double, triple and quadruple checking the area!!:ph34r::ph34r:

You've killed the ancient sylvan? I missed it my first times in the woods and next to it there was a normal sylvan which dropped the last piece i needed.

yeah that was the 2nd last piece I needed.... got it shortly after

still no drop bags anywhere, still been searching.... >_> I'm gonna give up for now The LTrigger trick is showing NO drop bags.... at all...

You should stop and come back later. If you've done it several times, you're likely making a mistake in your pathing and ignoring a small area. I had to go back and find the last bugger... he was on the little rise across from where you meet a certain survivor. Took me a bit to find the mob.

The one I had trouble finding was in the middle of a clearing by the puzzle I think. Look for trees with "ribcages".

ok this is a where the heck did this spawn out of moment.... I swear to the Maker I walked by that tree 30 times *the one by the rune circle*.... I walked by it today it wasn't a normal tree anymore, it was a sylvan *saw it a mile away, saw the ribs, barreled toward it... it was a NORMAL tree before, I've walked by it without it swiping at me, thank god this quest is finally done...

I think I've seen this too (Sylvan doesn't spawn properly until I leave the zone and come back).



What's more frustrating is that the one that didn't spawn properly was one I'd recently killed before a CTD...so I knew where it was but it wasn't there when I reloaded my last save. That confused me enough that I thought I was misremembering when and where I'd killed it...so I wandered all over looking for that last sylvan...
