"Mass Fanfiction" was supposed to be a play on words with "Fanfiction" replacing the tradition "Effect." Obviously.

If that weren't true, there'd have been no point in including "Mass."

Or in Mass Effect Context

Ex:I Geth you feel stupid now

I've noticed Tali and Garrus stories are extremely popular on FanFiction.net. There needs to be more love for the other characters, too!

I'm not big on ME fan ficition, probably because Shepard is ultimately a Mary Sue, and therefore, writing about him/her automatically makes the fiction into a Mary Sue fiction (imo, anyway). BUT, there are some good Shep-centric ones..

This fanfiction isn't mine, but it's well-written: Rock Steady. A Thane/Jack romance. Odd couple, but the writer makes it work. I love how in-character he/she was able to keep the characters in. Well, some of the characters' behaviors are iffy, but he/she does a lot better than most.

There are some who take a more nuanced look at Shepard and really knock down the "immortal God of all things" image of Shepard, not so much out of spite, but to make him/her realistic.  It is difficult to find such stories, I admit.

I'm just saying that the title is NOT a pun. A pun is a play on words that are synonyms, Fanfiction sounds nothing like effect, it is NOT a pun. End of story.

Also, I'm halfway through If You Need Me, great work.

As for a non-godlike Shepard. I'm trying, and I think I've got the hang of it. Though god-Shepard seems to be the more canon thing to do...

Whether or not something is synonymous has nothing to do with pronunciation; and that's exactly the point. Fanfiction sounds nothing like effect. But your intention was very clear. Why was "Mass" included in the title at all, if not to draw attention to the nonexistent similarities between effect and fanfiction? It wouldn't have been is an excellent answer.

I only started it on Friday, but it'll be interesting to see where it goes. There's no definite outline; right now it's being played mostly by ear. Miranda has an Australian accent while Zaeed has an English one

Yeah Garrus is the main LI in mine, but everyone (and I mean everyone) gets some screen time.  Even Crewman Hawthorne likes the limelight!

I've started writing one of my own (And currently still in progress) entitled Sooner or Later.  I also found alot of Garrus or Tali pairings out there, so I have dedicated my story to exploring all of FemShep's love interests (also with Zaeed, but very little Jacob.).
