Sorry for making an almost useless topic, but could someone answer this question for me? I did try researching it on my own, but that didn't help too much. When people say "the Boer War" are they referring to the first Boer War or the Second Boer War? I think they are referring to the Second Boer War, but I'm not entirely sure. Could someone please clarify?

The Boer War is refering to the Second Boer War.
The first was referred to as the Transvaal War.
