1) Has a tattoo of Mindoir's colonial seal on his right arm.
2) Is a collector of both antique and modern weapons. Thanks to this hobby, he is always armed to the teeth with the latest in modern weaponry and armor.
3) Secretly listens to a vid-mail from his mother before every mission (reminds him what he is fighting for).
4) Is not very tech-savvy. As a result of this embarrassing weakness, is currently being tutored by Tali.

1. Thanks to what happened on Midnoir and Torfan, has serious issues with batarians. Can't even be in the same room with one without trying to punch him.

5. Peed on an open electric socket as a teenager. Credits the traumatic experience for his biotic prowess.

Joanna Shepard, Spacer, Ruthless, Paragade, Infiltrator
1. Didn't realize she was a lesbian until she developed a crush on her ninth grade history teacher (whom she only knew through vids and holos--hard to have a sit-down class when you're a space kid).
2. Loves strategy games. Played Risk with her dad as a kid.
3. Torfan was her first time commanding her own unit. Moved in too early, got them all killed, took it out on the batarians. Regrets it to this day and seeks a way to make amends.
4. Loves rifles. Loves explaining the physics of rifles. Gets nerdy about ballistics.
5. Can't walk in heels. Shows no mercy to anyone who points it out.
6. Named her space hamster "Franklin."

3. Doesn't really care if he is the original Commander Shepard. Finds it doubtful at times, since if he were TIM, he wouldn't spend 4 billion credits on the Lazarus project. But then again, who can tell what the manipulative SOB had on his mind, when he authorized it? So the ultimate reason for the decision to stick with Cerberus to the end is curiosity.
4. Wonders if Zaeed Massani might be his father.

1. In spite of her father is one of the most famous techs of Alliance, Alison's tech skills is on the level of blondie from anecdotes. Oddly enough, most times Shepard even didn't need to touch electronisc to cause their crash - console nearby captain's quarters on original Normandy was the perfect example.

2) Following his brief stint with the Reds, found employment as a corporate mercenary prior to joining the Alliance.
3) Once spent 72 hours on a remote mountain range picking off an encampment of Batarian soldiers during the invasion of Torfan.
4) In his younger days, used to make "notches" in his rifle after each consecutive kill. After running out of space, realized how pointless and sentimental the action is.
5) Incredibly proud for accomplishing the feat of assassinating three targets (all three clean headshots) with a single rifle round. Despite this incredible achievement, has not mentioned the exploit to anyone.
6) Only leaves his private cabin to complete a scheduled mission.

Whew. Just got through this entire thread, and loved it--your Shepards are all fantastic! Love that this game gives us the ability to flesh out our Shepards like this. Anyway, here's mine:
Devin Shepard: Spacer, Akuze Survivor, Paragade
1. Never knew her biological father. Instead looks up to Turlus, her mother's long time turian boyfriend.
2. Has a brother/sister relationship with Garrus, and was not happy when he started talking about calibrations constantly. Cue hiding his face paint and setting him up on blind dates with vorcha.
3. Plays with her model ships when she thinks she's alone, and gives them elaborate backstories. GethShip/Soverign is a tale of unrequited love and adventure.
4. Is desperate to see a female turian. Has already asked Garrus multiple times about them, and if he's sure he's male.
5. Fornax is her favorite magazine, and she's a little upset that they haven't asked her to pose for them yet. Thinking of writing a letter in protest, or starting a petition.
6. Was in the middle of watching porn when Thane walked in before the Omega-4 Relay. Led to some awkward pillow talk.

4. Every time he sees a Quarian he has a strange urge to hug him/her. Works with Tali though since they're a couple. Now he gets Quarian hugs all the time!

Abigail Brand Shepard (Spacer, Ruthless, Infilitrator)
1. Was once told by Wrex "I have a feeling I could kill you and eat you entrails and half your crew would make songs about me." To which she replied "Then my approval rating is up."
2. Hates Batarians to the point that she would consider genocide an option. She won't make deals with them, she won't accept them as good people, they are scum that must be wiped out.
3. Had a heart of stone until Liara melted it a bit. Since the Liara has, and always be the only person she's ever romantically loved.

Tarkov Shepard (Vanguard)
1. Originally enlisted to become an attack VTOL aircraft pilot, didn't have the proper qualifications however. Served with distinction in a Marine expeditionary unit, fought in several battles against the batarian and mercenaries allied with them. Most of his following special forces career is classified.
2. Is still rather annoyed he never got much of a chance to take advantage of the stealth and combat capabilities of the Normandy SR1. He plans on taking the Normandy SR2 geth or batarian ship hunting when he has some free time.
3. Is rather proud, stubborn, and quick to anger. Some would call him arrogant, but he would punch you for that. Some say he lives for fighting, he might agree.
4. Military equipment collector and enthusiast, always tries to get the latest weaponry and has dozens of books on the subject ranging from historical overviews of armored fighting vehicle development to Jane's Fighting Ships - 2185 edition.

John Shepard (Colonist/Ruthless)
1) Captain of his school's football (soccer) team on the Mindoir colony. Was scouted by several clubs before the colony was attacked. Doesn't play anymore.
2) A number of his friends from Mindoir survived the attack. Some of them returned to the colony to aid in rebuilding efforts. Occasionally visits them when he has time.
3) While largely tolerant of many alien races, harbors a dislike and somewhat suspicious outlook on the Batarian race, as they were mainly responsible for the Mindoir attack. Not full on hate though, but he won't shed any tears for any Batarian who meets a grisly fate.
4) Oddly enough despite being military, has no like for action vids. Finds them fake and lacking excitement. So imagine his shock when he finds out that Hollywood plans to make one about his life.
5) A big fan of the old earth tv show Doctor Who.
6) Wants to go to Earth and try a genuine steak, not the reprocessed crap you find on other worlds.
Laura Shepard (Spacer/War Hero)
1) Her best friend and fellow soldier was one of the few who died on the attack on Elysium. Despite all the accolades she received in defending the colony, she considers herself a failure in preventing her friend's death.
2) Was surprised to be made a Spectre. She mostly assumed she would follow in her mother's footsteps and take command of an Alliance vessel.
3) Is actually of mixed heritage. Her father was a Filipino businessman who met her mother on Elysium. She also adores her father's extended family, and visits them on Earth whenever she can.
4) While biotic potentials like Kaidan underwent BAat training at Gagarin Station, Shepard was trained by a private Asari tutor hired by her mother. Hannah Shepard knew all to well of the hell children went through at Jump Zero, and didn't want that experience for her daughter.
5) Is actually a pretty good cook, being taught by her father's family. Though she often doesn't get the chance to show it off.
6) Hates techno music with a passion, and hates the fact that it seems to be music of choice in most parts of the galaxy. She prefers R&B or Jazz music more than anything.

2. Is open to the concept of religion but isn't entirely convinced by it.
3. Has very strong ideals of what is noble and what isn't and will often refer to his emotions rather then his logic when making tough decisions. He claims he learned the difference between right and wrong after fighting with the Alliance for a while and chose to find noble aims because he doesn't want to go back to the way he was living in poor conditions on Earth.
4. Is very much a one woman man, regardless of how many things might have come between him and her over the last two years.
5. He loves classical literature and music, often having the attitude of a surly old man when he sees what kind of music and literature is popular these days. He's a grumpy old man at the age of twenty nine.

Foucault Shepard (Earhborn, Ruthless, Infilitrator - Female, Renegade)
1.
Comes across as cold, racist, and angry. Though, truthfully, Foucault is only being as efficient as possible, and if that means getting on people's badsides, then that is exactly what she will do.
2. Absolutely detests any figure in power - believes those in power are effectively corrupted by that power. Believes that a crew working independently, outside the influence of other factions and companies, operate with a level of ethics that is completely unbiased. For this reason, she loves to ****** off the Council and The Illusive Man whenever she can. (also destroyed the reaper technology with this ideology in mind. Absolute Power = Absolute Corruption)
3. Comes across as racist, but actually hates humans more than she does other species. After being betrayed by her family, by her gang, by the Alliance, and even by Cerberus, Foucault prefers the company and opinions of aliens. Has a certain fondness for Krogan culture, thanks to Wrex.
4. Since Foucault respects alien cultures above her own, has allowed Garrus to kill Sidonis (It is within his right as a Turian), headbutted Krogans who didn't fall in line, and publically shamed human crew members who verbally attacked her alien crew.
5. Wrex, Tali, Garrus, Liara, and Mordin are as close to friends as she's ever had. Grunt she's taken on as a student. Joker, she has finally warmed up to but is still pretty pissed he got her killed in the first place. Jacob is the only human she's actually been 'friendly' to. They are regular drinking buddies.
6. When Garrus went up to her room expecting a weird interspecies procreation thing, he was shocked to find out that Foucault was more interested in a sexy brawling match. Needless to say, its been a good partnership.
