1. Has to break the lock on his quarters every night so he can't get out while sleep walking.
2. At age 13 declared himself a pacifist and until the raid on Mindoir refused to fight even in self defence.

April Shepard: Ruthless, Earthborn, Vanguard (Uber-Paragon)

1. Has perfect pitch and doesn't even know it. Can sing harmonies without realizing it; though she can't play every instrument well, she is partial to and excels at piano.

2. Totally a mushy softie on the inside and takes everything personally. It's what caused her to excel in the Alliance--taking everything personally and being dedicated to doing better.

3. Expert and pickpocketing and thievery from her rough life as a homeless youth on Earth. These are skills she doesn't really use anymore.

4. Foul mouthed and swearing constantly, without even realizing it. Crude sense of humor.

5. Constantly reading and trying to acquire knowledge, always researching. This comes from the insecurity of not having a formal education as a child. It's made her into a sort of Jack-of-all-Trades, master of none. Except kicking ass, of course--N7 did that.

6. Very black and white, yes or no, right or wrong kind of person. There is no gray area, and she always takes the high-road, even if she's thinking of punching in your teeth.

Jennifer Shepard: Earthborn, War Hero, Soldier, Mostly Paragon.

1. Considerable patience with people. Zero tolerance for badly made technology. It should do what it's designed to do, or it ends up in the bin.

2. Has a preference for accurate semi-auto weapons. Dislikes the 'why use one bullet when fifty will do' school of thinking.

3. Enjoys listening to 18th century baroque music for relaxation purposes, but enjoys heavy rock music when the mood takes her.

4. Has no real fear of her own death, but finds the potential loss of those close to her to be terrifying.

5. Incapable of giving up on something or someone once she sets her mind to it.

6. Loves the sea and is a competent solo yachtswoman.

1. She doesn't like Cerberus one bit. After breaking with the Illusive Man, she ordered all Cerberus insignia removed from the ship and crew uniforms.
2. She is afraid of thresher maws. Killing the maw during Grunt's rite of passage was extremely cathartic.
3. She is a film buff, and held a screening of The Longest Day on the Normandy on the anniversary of D-Day.
4. She's having serious guilt issues over destroying the Bahak system. She would have gladly sacrificed herself if it would have saved them. Sometimes, she has nightmares of being one of the colonists as their planet is destroyed in slow-motion. She's seeing Kelly regularly now.
5. Speaks English, Gaelic, Sumerian, Asari, and now Prothean. Uses Prothean for sending sensitive messages and love letters to Liara.
6. Loves classical music. Combat soundtrack includes "Mars, the Bringer of War", "In the Hall of the Mountain King", "Ride of the Valkyries", "O Fortuna", and "Dies Irae".

1. A romantic type but loves his corny romance lines and the cheesy ones at that

2. Hates the thought of sacrificing lives for the greater good even if its the best option

3. Wants to settle down once all of this is over and live a more normal life and possible start a family

4. Likes taking the hits for the team always takes the lead keeps the team watching his back whilst he takes the risk.

5. He believes he does not deserve all the attention he gets to be needed when more major situations in the galaxy needs the public eye not on what he is being doing in both his line of work and his private life

6. He knows that he may have to throw his life away once more but he is more than willing if its for the greater good of the galaxy and of those he loves but he will not throw his life away when he feels it is not needed

1. Used to be a barfight champion and still starts some with people too drunk or dumb to realize who he is. To relieve stress.
2. Has an almost peternatural resitence to alcohol, even more so now that he's been "upgraded". This has led to many an unconcious member of the Navy when they tried to drink him under the table.
3. Discusses retirement plans with Zaeed.
4. Loves classic rock. Especially Queen and the Who.
5. Only knew his father, who died before he was 10. Still has a love of fishing because of him.
6. Is "too sane for this ****".
7. Painted the signiature red stripes on his armour because he joked it would make his charge go faster

1. Went all out on a batarian one time because he called him "Commander Ass$%#&", then made-up with the inconsiderate fool onboard the normandy the next day with a handshake and a sincere apology.

2. Doesn't like sacrificing anyone for the greater good, even though he firmly believes that is what must be done to ensure that balance is kept in check throughout the galaxy.

3. Likes being the ultimate "do-gooder" whenever he can, regardless of Zaeed's gudamn opinion.

4. Is a romantic at heart, but knows when the mission must come ahead of his feelings.

5. Is always there for his teammates, while his teammates are always there for him in any situation, regardless of how small or big the obstacle may be.

6. Knows that while the reapers may seem like an unstoppable force, he will get the job done and sacrifice his life if that is what must be done to save the galaxy.

Pharaohe Noa Shepard, Earthborn, Ruthless, Infiltrator.

1. Is a big fan of the Galactic Combat Sports League, and is a black belt martial artist herself. 
2. Ironically, could not shoot for sh*t when she initially joined.  The Alliance had intended to put her in Administration as a pay clerk.  She got better.
3. Began searching for any information regarding her family sometime after successfully completing her N7 training.  All she managed to learned is that her mother died during childbirth and that she is of Israeli descent. 
4. Is a skilled sketch artist and painter.  Designed the SR-2 paint scheme herself.
5. Maintained a licensure in EMT- I before her death.
6. Took her damn near a month to figure out how to configure her Omni-Tool; she had limited experience with them, due to her upbringing, and was too proud to ask for help.  Her computer skills are also completely self taught.

• Highly competitive and cocky. He initially didn't plan on joining the Alliance, but decided to join to honor the memory of his father after he died defending Mindoir.
• Has a love for old Sci-Fi vids. Star Wars is his favorite. Also is a fan of the Blasto vid.
• His survival on Akuze caused him to develop spirituality. 
• Exposed himself to Eezo on a dare when he was 14. This caused him to develop his biotics and turned his Iris Silver as a side effect.
• Had a scar on his left cheek that he claims is a battle wound. It's actually a result of a drunken bar fight when he was on shore leave.
• Secretly a fan of classical music. His favorite composers are Clint Mansell, Yoko Shimomura, and Pyotr Ilyich Ychaikovsky.

1. Row constantly got into fights as a kid. She was actually a bit of a bully.

2. She sleeps like a rock and snores like a freight train.

3. She has the worst spelling on the planet and had to be tutored up through high school. Dyslexia? Maybe. But she makes heavy use of spell check before sending in her reports.

4. Despite being a godawful tomboy and anti-romantic, she has a weakness for sappy love songs and chick flicks.

5. She can hold her liquor better than most, but when she gets drunk, she's really, really obnoxious.

6. As a side-effect of being raised aboard starships, she thinks "natural" food tastes kind of weird.

1. Hates Batarians and politicians immensely.
2. Considers the events at Torfan his best worst decision. Batarians got what they deserved, but at a high cost.
3. Has a softer side he does not allow anyone to see. Part of of that softer side involves a hamster named Red Baron.
4. A firm believer in "screw the rules, I'm doing what's right".
5. Spends some nights playing cards and drinking with Zaeed, Kasumi, and Legion in the cargo hold. He constantly invites Garrus, but the Turian is always busy calibrating.
6. Enjoys irritating Miranda at times. All in good fun of course.

Hayleen Shepard - Infiltrator/ Spacer/ Sole Survivor/ Paragade

1. Likes to hum soft melodies while sniping.
2. Is creeped the hell out by Husks.
3. Sketches portraits of her crew members in free time.
4. Sometimes sleeps in Mordin's lab. For some reason she find it comforting.
5. Is an able hacker. Once she messed around with Garrus' omni tool until it looped Calibration, an edited version of Kool & The Gang's Celebration.
6. Loves gothic novels. Carmilla and The Picture of Dorian Gray are her favorites.

1. He hates Batarians and didn't think twice about destroying that mass relay.
2. His mother was a huge fan of the old earth tv show Stargate Atlantis.
3. He has a slight tendency towards speciesism yet feels that quarians get a bad rap.
4. He was raised catholic but after "dying", he now holds a more athiestic view on the universe.
5. He enjoys finding creative ways to kill people using his biotics.
6. His current husk kill count is 237, just two behind Garrus.

1. Had an unhappy childhood, which turned horrifying when the Batarians attacked Mindoir (Colonist background)

2. Is very unsure of himself and is insecure. He never thinks he's good enough, especially after Akuze (Sole Survivor background)

3. Is a collector of various arms. Particularly enamored of 20th and 21st century rifles and handguns. Handloads his own ammunition for the antique arms, is rated expert in IDPA (Interstellar Defensive Pistol Association) competitive shooting, and shoots long range rifle. The military taught him nothing about firearms, as he already knew more than they did when he joined.

4. Likes to do a bit of writing (short stories) in his scarce down time, as well as reading.  Likes sci fi mostly, but really liked The Lord of the Rings, as he recognizes it as an allegory for the story of humanity that is as applicable today as it was when it was written.

5. He talks a big game about not wanting to deal with any BS or whining from people. He doesn't tolerate BS well, except when it's his crew. He loves his crew like family (which he doesn't have anymore) and would do literally anything on their behalf. He would also do happily push a merc out a window if the situation warranted it, however, and anyone that threatened his crew would meet a horrible end.

6. Lifelong Christian, but his duties make regular church attendance impossible. He figures Jesus understands and approves of stopping the Reapers.

1. Her alliance to humanity is shaky, at best; she's more interested in saving the galaxy than trying to make humans look good. She's not particularly close to her family and is more emotionally attached to her crew.

2. She has a reputation of being a shining example of 'humanity'. She is also not adverse to beating people in the face if it comes down to the wire, and can go from zero to b---htastic in under five seconds. She tries to keep her darker moments out of the public eye, though.

3. If there is an explosive canister, she will duck behind or next to it. No exceptions.

4. She doesn't have any fish. She can barely handle trying to save life as we know it from the Reapers as it is, who has time for aqua life? Consequently, her fish tank has become a filing cabinet, spare ammo drawer, medicine cabinet, laundry basket, trash can, and basketball hoop.

5. Every time the Normandy gears up to go through the Mass Relay, she rushes to the front and stands by Joker to watch the sky. This is how she and Joker bonded and because friends.


6. Her favourite time of day is when she sits down for food with her squaddies and the Normandy crew- Thane on her left, Garrus on her right. Friday nights are devoted to s--t talking and listening to Zaeed's war stories.

1. Instead of breaking him, the horrors in his life has made him appreciate the little things more than most.
2. Likes to have sniping competitions with Garrus.
3. Likes to think of his crew as family. He's more than willing to go out of his way to help his squad.
4. A romantic at heart who, unfortunately, has horrible luck with women. All the women he's been interested in were taken (pre-ME1).
5. Despite his forgiving nature, he harbors an immense hatred for the Illusive Man (because of Akuze) and is only working with him out of necessity.
6. Absolutely loves music - listens to a wide variety of genres, but is especially fond of tunes from the 1950s.
