1.No very close with his family.
2.As a Trainee, was see as a compulsive flurt with women. Lost too may girlfriends that way. Gain may that way, too.
3.After losing his entire squad in Akuze, he took time off to realigned himself religiously.
4. Has a major weakness for Asari.
5.Once drunk a Krogan under a table. Had to go to a hospital afterward but it was Worth it.

1. Was a “wild child” in her youth. Drank, smoked pot, did some drugs, and loved hanging out w/ her uncle, retired Alliance military. Had sex with the girl next door when she was sixteen.
2. While scouting for Slavers, Shepard and her patrol came upon a small group of Batarians. They engaged in hostile fire. Three died and one surrendered. The captured Batarian gave the location of the Raiders hold and begged to be spared. Without a word or provocation, Shepard pounced upon the Batarian and began to beat him with the butt of her rifle. 1. Loves old Earth music.
2. Called her space hampster Michaelangelo.
3. Was brought up by a member of the Reds after he killed her parents in an armed robbery when she was 6, joined the Reds aged 17 to take revenge on the leader who had the guy who brought her up killed for keeping food to himself. She succeeded and realised that she didn't want a life of revenge and hatred so she joined the Alliance as soon as she was 18. Regrets what she did to this day.

1. Kate can't drink hot drinks, or eat cold sandwiches. She can eat cold bread in a sandwich, but the filling has to be hot. This may/maynot be rooted in her childhood.
2. Kate owns every episode of Xena: Warrior Princess on holovid. It may be considered classiscal media by now, but she can quote it verbatum. Occasionally explains her awesomeness away by saying "I have many skills."

1. Was “assaulted” by a gang of Reds on Earth. Hunted the gang members, removed certain “vital parts”, killed them, then removed said “vital parts” and prepared them in a casserole. Sent the "special" casserole to other gang members.
2. Joined the Alliance so she could get paid to kill people and be called a hero in the process. The irony.
3. Sent Saren a message thanking him for giving her an excuse to kill Kaiden. Not sure it ever got through. The message contained lots of X’s and O’s.
4. Hates the Alliance, the Council and Cerberus equally. Hates TIM w/ the passion of a thousand suns. Sent him recipe for "special" casserole.
5. Secretly wants to have sex with Miranda, and then throw her out the airlock.

1) One time drank every marine, sailor, and officer under the table. That morning after shore leave though...
2) Enjoys playing the piano. Will find a baby grand to put into her quarters during the next Normandy upgrade.
3) Sparred with a recon scout. It ended in a draw...as they both had flexibility. That night, they held a tiebreaker in her quarters...and yeah, Sakura's been swinging that way ever since. Not ashamed to hit on Liara, Miranda, Kelly, and Samara. Looking forward to "sparring" with Kasumi...if possible...
4) ...yet, she has a secret crush on some ancient badass named Jack Bauer. She finds that she can relate to him a lot. He would've been proud of her when she interrogated Elias Kelham. Still. She longs for a "Bauer Interrupt".
5) Has several katanas in her quarters. Would've loved to duel Morinth and show her how to use a real sword.

4 She longs for Intergalactic peace, and cannot stand Cerberus. Her dealings with them haven't changed that.
5 She is still fearful of Batarians, and goes to great lengths to keep it from affecting her choices.

1 Innately disciplined, professional and calm under pressure. The perks of being a military brat.

Shiori Shepard, Infiltrator, Colonist/Sole Survivor.
1. Still has nightmares about Mindoir and Akuze. Believes they make her stronger.
2. Fell in love with Garrus about halfway though the mission to stop Saren, didn't have the courage to tell him until two years later.
3. Desperately wants a Hanar on her squad. To the point of begging Thane if he knows anyone suitable.
4. Father was Japanese, Mother was American. One of the last memories she has of her father, involved him decapitating a Batarian slaver with a katana, before being shot in the chest.
5. Is a big 20th and 21st century anime and comic book fan. Frequently calls Garrus "Batman" and Tali "Winry", much to their confusion.
6. Will kill the Illusive Man if she ever meets him in person. Pretended to vaguely "agree" with him up until the last moment. Akuze will not be forgotten and it will never be forgiven.
Nathan Shepard, Soldier, Earthborn/Ruthless.
1. Used to keep a notch on his rifle for every 5 Batarians he killed. Has only recently decided that only maybe...85% of them deserve to die.
2. Has a dartboard in his cabin, with a picture of Udina and a picture of Harbinger. Harbinger is worth 50 points, Udina is worth 100.
3. Let Garrus kill Sidonis, as something quite similar happened to him long ago. Unlike Garrus however, he hasn't gotten his revenge. Yet.
4. Used to go out drinking with Wrex. That time in the Dark Star, was the 2nd time he ever tried to drink Ryncol.
5. Has a faded 10th Street Reds tattoo on his right shoulder, which he personally attempted to remove when he joined the military. He didn't do a very good job and a black shadow remains on his skin.
6. Was very angry that Cerberus healed the jagged scar on his cheek. It was reminder of Torfan and the various mistakes he had made. While drunk one night, almost succeded in making it again, before a timely arrival of Miranda stopped. After slapping him, she said she liked his face the way it was. That was good enough for him.

Charlie Shepard: Soldier, colonist/sole survivor
1. Born with his eyes sticking out from his skull farther than they should from his sockets. (Most likely his human mom had an affair with a Salarian.)
2. Makes friends rather easily, even with the big mean aliens like the Krogan. Whom he thinks are awesome.
3. Wanted a relationship with Tali in ME1 but game wouldn't let him, so he had to settle for Ashley. (Sorry Kaiden, but having sex with a guy would have made the game MUCH more controversial)
4.Not very good with the bad girls, which caused him to fail Samara's loyalty mission. (Bieng a near pure paragon does have it's downsides)
5. Is a terrible dancer
6. Intrigued by the fact that the Illusive man looks and sounds a lot like the guy who played as the President from "The West Wing"

The only charm options come up when you've got Morinth in her apartment. For "Art", just make sure you read her note to Nef, which will clue you into the elcor artist Forta.

2. Has a thing for Asari since the age of 22. Has been considering genemods.

1. She has a deep love of all classic novels, preferably clothbound for aesthetic value. Gave the crew each a copy of "The Odyssey" in their native language.
2. Loves to eat out and order the most complicated thing on the menu. Eating protein bars on ships your whole life does that to you.
3. Thought she and Miranda had nothing in common until they both expressed sheer glee over the sight of a M.A.C. Cosmetics Kiosk on Illium.
4. Since the deaths of nearly all her fish (for which she is convinced is because they were cannibalistic), Joan has moved on to flowers. Kelly secretly replaces them everyday.
5. She has to "get in the zone" while scanning planets. This includes a stack of magazines, copious amounts of snacks, and a specific playlist blasting on the Normandy's sound system.
6. Emails her mom weekly. Hannah gives comments in return such as, "Make sure not to take any drinks from Zaeed." and "Does Samara use La Mer? She has zero wrinkles." Hannah also got Jack a Snuggie. Thought she looked cold.

1. Is incredibly seductive as the guys will tell you
2. Has a bad temper, but underneath is a kind person, at least to the crew
3. Let the council die so some of the aliens at the citadel act indifferently to her. Which makes her sad deep down.
4. Is able to kill rouge spectres, blow up collector bases, and nearly get crushed by reaper wreackage and survive, all without messing up her hair and make up.
5. Jealous of Miranda for having a better body than hers
6. Enjoys punching the news lady.
