1.  Lost her fiancee Nathan Weiss (civilian reporter) during the Skylian Blitz - would have married and left the service if the attack never happened.  She would eventually learn that he died while indirectly helping her, pulling the wounded on the field to safety.  Wears his ring on a necklace.

2.  Her father, Dylan Shepard, is the more emotional of her parents and instilled in her morality and the commitment to public service - "If someone genuinely needs help, and you're in a position or have the means to help, Then.You.Help!"

3.  Loving Liara is a new experience for Cady, having been heterosexual her whole life.  The prospect of joining minds and souls, of truly knowing the other person was the main drive in pursuing their relationship.  On one small level, she harbors a curiosity for wanting to know what  its like to be the "experienced male," but she truly loves Liara with all her heart and misses her terribly. 

4.  Looks on the Normandy crew as her family and has pet names for some of them:  Garrus - brother ("Garr-Bear"), Tali - kid sister, Samara - grandmother, Kasumi - aunt, Zaeed - "Gramps,"  Grunt - "Junior" 

5.  Was actually a cheerleader in high school for one semester, but not a very good one.  Cady performed a cheer she wrote for the Normandy crew after the suicide mission - Jack is relieved to see she's no longer "the crazy one."

6. Known for having "a very good time" on shore leave.  At N7, it was said that "you knew shore leave was over when they brought Cady Shepard back on board on a stretcher."  Bets were made as to what state of undress she would be in, what song she would mangle or what items she'd be clutching when she came back.  The betting pool for "totally naked" was never won.

1. Heavy drinker and chain smoker. Very glad Cerberus replaced his liver and lungs, figures it will give him another twenty years of drinking and smoking.

2. Used to be scared of blood and gore. Like shooting big guns at bad guys though so he eventually got used to the former.

3. Was once in a choir as a child. Still has perfect pitch and enjoys writing love songs in his spare time... which he hides in a box under his bed... which has gone missing. Has recently begun receiving ransom letters for said box, demanding higher quality dextro-DNA provisions, signed "AA". He suspects Thane.

4. Loves watching and playing ice hockey but can barely skate. Hell of a sniper though.

5. Has no sense of direction but is too proud to admit it. Almost started a border skirmish with the Batarians once when he crossed the border and kept going for three systems before finding a map.

6. Hates teddy bears. Can't understand why people would think a vicious 900-pound predator would be cute.

Karl Shepard, paragon. Although not being close to a self-portrait, he is the one I identify the most with.

1. Is a hardcore socialist who hates social injustice more than anything. He had a good time hating everyone on Noveria.
2. Has a certain self-rightiousness about him and will break the law to do what he feels is right.
3. His partner is Samara, this lead to unresolved sexual tension, Shepard tried to romance her, but was rejected, he took it pretty hard.
4. Hates Cerberus more than anything, due to his past and his ideals. This clouded his vision greatly and made him *spoiler* blow up the Collector Base *spoiler*, if this decision will lead to tragedy and loss, he will probably blame himself pretty hard.
5. He is not an alcoholic, but when he drinks, he drinks heavy. While being very strict while at work, his shore leaves tend to become hardcore. When drunk his communistic tendencies bloom. He also smokes pibe.
6. His upbringing was very idyllic and happy, untill he lost everyone he ever cared about, later he also lost his entire squad. This has lead to him having issues with long-term friendships, pushing anyone away who comes too close.

Ambrosios Shepard, renegade, sentinel with dominate.
1. He is very resourceful and intelligent. His whole existance is based on cold cost/benefit analysis and he secretly dreams of ruling the galaxy, although he would never tell anyone about it.
2. He is extremely positive and compassionate, on the outside, but behind his loving exterior he is constantly plotting. (this also leads to him getting the plastic surgery in ME2, although unnecessary since his paragon meter is skyhigh, I just like to roleplay)
3. When he had the chance to destroy the council, and making it look like he had to sacrifice it because of Sovreign, he took it.
4. He collects allies from whatever race, so that his position in the galaxy when he takes over will be stronger.
5. He romanced Miranda and made her think he was interested in her whining, just because of her genes, gotta think about the best outcome for your future successor.
6. He paragonized himself through all interviews, PR is important! The future leader has a better standing if he is a sympathetic character than if he is a immature, violant douche.

1. While being onboard the SSV Tampa Bay with his mother (then a Commander), caused the artificial gravity to
    go offline for 6 hours.
2. Last thought as he was being spaced: "Well atleast I don't have to eat the meatloaf the galley was preparing   
     today."
3. Despite being called a paragon, has no problems with stealing from innocent people's safes and/or bank
     accounts to fund his mission against the repears.
4. Can out drink any non-krogan.
5. Wonders why Ashley (his previous LI) doesn't get why being dead until, at most, a week ago, hampers
     telling people you're alright. Dumped Ashley shortly thereafter.

1. Loves to tinker with things, she managed to mods her equipment to allow her to carry more ammo (involves a lot of tape and many pockets).



2. Loves to move silently (hence the class) and is often called a ninja by her team when she seems to appear out of nowhere. She can't help it, that's just how she grew up.



3. Often forgets she can cloak in battle. Many injuries resulted from that forgetfulness.



4. Usually righteous, she can get very crossed with idiots and close-minded fools. Short on temper, can snap with no notice.



5. Goes into a battle frenzy that lasts until all the enemies are dead. Don't get in her way once the fighting starts.



6. Likes to repaint walls with the blood of her enemies with her best friend, the Widow.

1) Tolerant of alien races in so far as is reasonable...except Batarians.  Seriously, those guys can go die in a fire; just like her family and friends did.  Well, the ones they didn't enslave or shoot.

2) Although she maintains an exterior of placing the mission first, at all costs, she secretly believes that she screwed up on Torfan.  A lot of good soldiers died because she didn't look for alternatives, instead opting for the quick solution.  She still prefers to take it but has learnt that it does pay to at least think things through more thoroughly.

3) An utter hardass to her crew, she especially enjoys popping Joker's massive ego; that said, deep down, she does care.

4) Swings two ways: gentler women and Garrus.

5) Acts independently of authority: her duties as a SPECTRE, employment in Cerberus and history as an Alliance officer all come a distant second to her morals and the task of stopping the Reapers.

6) In her morals, she comes closest to Garrus.  She will punish the wicked and protect the innocent; when the two conflict, it becomes a matter of proportion.

John Shephard (he's not Sheploo) Soldier, Ruthless/Spacer

1. Loves the Asari and Human Females very much, I mean very very much

2. Is a big fan of an old TV show, Star Trek: Next Generation, his favorite character is Cpt. Picard

3. Has watched Star Wars to many times and now he wants to become a Galactic Emperor or altleast make Humans the dominant race of The Galaxy (he and TiM are BFF's btw)

1. Likes men, but women are okay too.
2. Feels really bad for Joker, he wishes there was more that could be done for him medically.
3. Pressly’s death hit him hard, he looked up to him and he never got a chance to grieve or say goodbye. The Normandy Crash Site was tough for him.
4. Trusts the aliens on the ship more than the humans, and doesn’t know why.
5. Is really attracted to Miranda, and doesn’t know why. She’s really not his type.

1. Was one of only two applicants that had a perfect score on her Alliance entrance exams the year she applied.

4. Doesn’t want children. It might be a dealbreaker with Kaidan, but she’s not going to budge on the issue.
5. Misses the Mako, she liked driving around in it.
6. Spends more time on day-to-day ship matters than she needs to, and she can tell it gets on Miranda’s nerves.

Ashley Shepard / Soldier / Spacer / Ruthless

1. Murdered someone when she was a teenager and was never caught.
2. Was secretly glad that Ashley Williams bought the farm on Virmire. Who did that **** think she was?
3. Doesn’t really care about her appearance. Still wears an Alliance hairstyle even though Cerberus doesn’t have any regulations about hairstyles
4. Wanted to kill Grunt when he came out of the tank, but he’s tougher than he looks.
5. Thinks she should have gotten SOMETHING from Cerberus in exchange for that geth she pulled off the derelict Reaper.
6. Wishes she could disconnect EDI permanently, and if it weren’t for the Illusive Man’s BS, she would have.

1.  He is so paragon that all his choices appear on the upper third of the conversation wheel.

2.  Although he flirted with both Ashley and Liara, he always had a thing for Tali.  He never pursued her earlier though because he wasn't sure how old she was under that envirosuit.

3.  He is unaware that the real reason Miranda killed Wilson is because he caught her molesting Shepard before the Lazerus Project was completed and he was trying to blackmail her.

4.  Doesn't mind shooting Vorcha in the face because he knows they will regenerate and become smarter.

5.  He is so great that Tim Tebow wears John Shepard underwear.

6.  He is so charismatic that he was able to convince Jack to try out for the Cerberus cheerleaders.


Kira Shepard (Earthborn, Ruthless, Adept, Renegon (or Paragade whatever. . .))

1.  Contrary to popular belief, she (not Jack), is the most powerful human biotic in the galaxy.  The bulkheads on the Normandy had to be reinforced prior to her first evening with Jacob.

2.  She loves pets.  She really wanted to bring Urz on board the Normandy, but knew it would be a bad idea with Kelly aboard (scale itch).

3.  Although she would never admit it, she once hung out with Conrad Verner.  They looted some crates for extra credits.

4.  She doesn't mind shooting vorcha in the face because they are nothing but vermin.

5.  While she is generally tolerant of alien races, she really does believe that the Hanar are just "big, stupid jellyfish" (with the hand motions).

6.  She is so charismatic she convinced Kaiden to join her and Liara in a three-eta.

Rex Shepard (Spacer, Sole Survivor, Soldier, Pure Renegade)

1.  He is so tough, he killed the thresher maw on Akuze by himself, on foot, with his fists.  "Toombs was a wuss."

2.  He is so mean, he once made Wrex cry (before he shot him in the quad).

3.  He thinks Zaeed is a wuss for complaining so much about Vido shooting him in the face.

4.  Enjoys shooting vorcha in the face. . . just because. . . and any other species too.

5.  He is so vindictive that snuck aboard the Destiny Ascension and strangled the Turian ambassador just before it exploded, because of the "ah yes . . Reapers" (in finger quotes) comment.

6.  It is fortunate that he couldn't romance Kelly prior to the suicide mission because when he finds out she has the scale itch. . .

1. While in the Red Suns she was one of the gang's top members.
2. Carries a heavily customized heavy pistol with her everywhere which was the first weapon she ever owned.

1. Has OCD when it comes to feeding his fish

2. Killed his first sentient being when he was 16 years old on Earth during Reds his initiation

3. Joined military to escape Earth and try and better himself as a person, also demonstrates misplaced need for atonement

4. Swears like it's nobody's business, drinks heavily, and used to be a heavy smoker.

6. Listens to old-school hardcore, not that new **** **** that people pass off as hardcore nowadays, and had multiple tattoos (which are now gone due to skin melting in atmosphere)
