What was your favorite ending for Mass Effect 2?

Um, there were like only 2. All my companions survived, and the collector facility was destroyed.

I think the "best ending" will come from a character that doesn't use any ship upgrades at all. Also it helps if you don't max out your paragon/renegade scores, since it forces you to make some difficult choices when conflicted between crewmembers, or in tali's trial.

I thought, the only thing that changes are the crew members who survived...

the rest should be pretty much the same..

I see no point in playing through an ending where some comrades die - it can have only disadvantages to gameplay experience in ME2 since you don´t play every mission possible and you will miss the cameos in ME3. Since it is so easy to make everybody survive, the reward-effect of that ending is pretty low, though.

I would have loved it to have fought our way out with a timer....that would have been sweet.

Indeed there are, just do a search on YouTube for Mass Effect 2 Endings. They're substantially different.

Im thinking about with purpose killing Jack on the last mission of my Infiltrator.....

My "best" ending is the one where I only had half the squadmembers loyal (due to being an ass), and still managed to save everyone.

Oh, and I blew up the base. Also told the council where to stick their reinstatement offer.

So gonna be a lone ranger in ME3.
