BTW: would you really be putting this up on the forum if it was legit?
Personally I would be phoning Customer Support.

TROLL / April Fools

Alright, by this I have concluded that you are one of four things.
  • Underage.
  • Retarded.
  • A Troll.
  • All of the above.
Go away.

Either this is a brilliant troll, or something previously unheard of.

Banned from a single-player game? The world has certainly moved on.

Eh.. I suppose your waryness is somewhat understandable, given the date. But.. yeah.. Not a joke. I am confident the ässtards at the office is having a field day with this.

It's probably good that there's a ocean inbetween us.

yeah, I don't...err...not believe you. I just don't want to believe at all. It's a really ugly precedent to ban people in single player already purchased offline games for posts on a public forum of a dissenting viewpoint. Human race you continue to surprise me (if not sadden)! :crying:

strange how you are the ONLY person that has ever happened to aint it?

then again whatever dude. you can make excuses all you want, i personally dont believe. I have never trolled (you can search if you like) while you on the other hand seem to do it quite often. the oghren thing. (pick up a phone for some damn support) the on the brasil thread you say "So, how's the civil wars going? Had any revolutions lately?" not only off topic but i definate instagation. I see your type in forums all the time. you sit here and whine cuz you like to cause ****, whatever your reason I dont care. i just hate ppl like you that enjoy throwing spanners in the works just for fun.

unlike you i aint gonna try and sit you trying to discover what reason you do these things, but you are a shít stirrer.

open your door, go outside, and get a fúcking life

In simple terms, EA has every right on its side in restricting your access to any content you might have paid for

Actually, from what I understand, End User License Agreements are not legally binding in many countries for the simple fact that you agree to them after you have purchased your game, not before.  How can you legally enter into a contract whose terms have not been disclosed to you?  The fact is that you can't - which is why I believe the claim is very much valid.  EA is obligated to inform you of the conditions before your purchase, end of story, otherwise they cannot arbitrarily revoke your rights, as a binding agreement was never made.

yep, let alone legitimately "signed".

they don't hold up in the legal system, thank goodness.

And as suddenly as I was banned, I'm now un-banned. I also want to stress that I still haven't heard as much as a peep from.. well.. anyone. And again I find myself flabbergasted, not over the callous treatment of customers ("lol i dun liek him ban him lol bye") but the sheer inability for most of said customers apparently being completely unable to see what a dangerous precedent this sets, further reinforced by the dismissal of the community.

Never stop bleeting, because if you did, you could just aswell be the next.

Ah, nevermind. "Account Banned" again.

Social Site account still working, though. In-game it's the exact same issue as before, can't access DLC.

Think of it this way; If you were me, you'd have a nice userbar or two.

legal or not. revoking other peoples content that is bought from you is a cheap trick and a specific reason why many people fear Digital Downloadable Content. i honestly don't care much for OP's ban and why. but revoking his bought games on basis for what happened on a forum is lousy.

infact, selling games like they're sold today is one big dick move. back in the day, you bought a game and there was some licence paper read 5 lines or so. but no one regarded that since you owned the game. today, because of piracy, focus has changed to "you've rented this game untill we dislike you" which is cheap and really assy. a buy is a buy. and he BOUGHT the content.

It won't. There is no appeal process for the ban. It only bans you ingame.
Varenus check your EMAIL you made your EA account with. It should have sent you an automated message.
It bans you from all EA published games for terms of service violations for (first offense 72 hours) and anything after that can be a perma ban.

Default Avatar =/= Swastika in signature.
Nice try, but no dice.
False reporting is also a TOS violation and will indeed get you banned as well, so by all means, go for it.
Also, 1/10 for implying the swastika is only "historic imagery"

You're right the swastika is basically the sole reason Hitler acted on his prejudices. It's essentially all the evil condensed from the bowels of hell plucked from the smoldering ashes of satan's once-heart and cast into the world of man to reek havoc and destruction on those puritan hearts of all the righteous followers of Jesus.

Or it's the symbol of the 3rd Reich or **** party from history and you're over-reacting and placing more connotations on it than need be. Yes the **** regime is despicable, but the swastika is just an image. Stop projecting your emotions on it.

Pro-tip: you're over-reacting and I'm not going to report you because it is petty, reporting people for offending you is petty. Stop being petty. Oh also, 5/10 for you. A decent troll.

Edit: Wow. The abbreviation of the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei is filtered. Guess you aren't the only one projecting and acting on negative emotions.

Fail.
Thanks for taking stuff out of context. Are you a drama queen by choice? I never said the swastika caused Evil. It REPRESENTS evil. Let's see you walk into a black neighborhood with a white robe on. Oh but wait, I guess they would be overreacting if they beat you to death and tossed you in a landfill. The white robe is JUST an image.
