Thanks for taking stuff out of context. Are you a drama queen by choice? I never said the swastika caused Evil. It REPRESENTS evil. Let's see you walk into a black neighborhood with a white robe on. Oh but wait, I guess they would be overreacting if they beat you to death and tossed you in a landfill. The white robe is JUST an image.

and once more a guy whose historical knowledge doesn´t go above the "swastika = evil" horizon..

Okay, the crazy part about all of this is that for those of you who were trying to clarify with the OP, the clarifications came back as assaults on nationality. And we're fighting fascism by...what? By being ironic with petty sig notes that ARE offensive?



Seriously, JigPig is right, and yes, it's an historical emblem. A symbol of sorts. Widely used in different cultures, portrayed different ways to convey different meanings, but this historical symbol being employed, is being used with that exact era in mind. Where that symbol was the symbol of oppression and death. Why even joke about it?

the totally cool thing about opinions is that, well, everyone can have them. Yes I realize that works in reverse. However, with me being a sane person I put no more stock in a symbol than it simply being a symbol. You're angry and disgusted at Hitler and his regime (as is absolutely acceptable), not a simple swastika and it's known connection to that era. It's called satire, it's called tongue-in-cheek, or what have you. You can be offended and you can report it if you feel the need to be petty. You shouldn't plod into a thread following a user telling them you're reporting them for something you find offensive. You just brought petty to a new low. You should realize that not everyone considers it to be offensive, it can most certainly be used in satire. People speak of being childish, but some people seriously just need to grow-up.

Well, Valsung, all of your sanity is quite appreciated, but as is evident in nearly all of your posts thus far in this thread, you seem to have the blindest, most incapacitating, intellectually stunted and staggeringly limited wit bottled up in a neat little package of god-awful assumptions and wavering, easily battered stances.



I never said I was going to report you. I said that JipPig was right. I know what satire is, and that the offensive nature of a swastika can be viewed differently depending on where you are (which I did state earlier, if recollection serves), but that doesn't change the fact that it hardly needs to be employed in this situation, at the expense of everyone who has to view it. That, as a matter of fact, is petty.
