Late last year EA released a new, extremely disputable and IMHO very privacy unfriendly User Agreement, which users were forced to accept to be able to play DAO online. Out of principle, I still refuse to accept this agreement, meaning I can no longer go online from inside DAO (yeah, I know a lot of people don't see any problem with this user agreement... that's your own choice. Please respect mine!)
Fortunately DAO is 100% playable offline, otherwise I would have returned it to the store and asked a full refund then.
Now to the point:
I still have points in my Bioware Points account - there is no option to return them to my credit card - and I would be interested in purchasing Return To Ostagar, if this were possible by any other way.
It would be great if, for example, you could buy DAO addons in the Bioware Online Store (preferably with Bioware Points!), and then link them to a specified account (That way people could also give addons as presents to others, if they wanted to).
Please let me know what my options are (apart from logging in to DAO and accepting the new user agreement).
And if there are no options to purchase anything with my Bioware Points, then what are my options for getting the remainder of Bioware Points refunded to my credit card?
Thanks in advance for any advice
Cheiron
PS: I don't think manual installation of RTO (using the daupdater) would be a problem once I have the game registered to my account; it worked fine for the Awakening pre-order bonus items as well.
PPS: sorry for the double post - I tried posting this in the Online Store section, but got no replies at all, and as this may be a more appropriate place for it, I'm attempting it here now.
