I'm curious to see which one people prefer the most.

My previous poll said that the majority preferred ME2 over ME1.

So, which one of these three did you like the most and why?

(IMO KOTOR1>ME2>ME1)

bioware games are too good to be compared to anything other than other bioware games.



the real question is, is there any bioware game better than Jade Empire?

Wow! It's early, but ME2 with more votes than ME1 & KOTOR combined. That's surprising. I voted for ME2, but I would've gone with Jade Empire if it was on there.

Mass Effect 2 is the best. Mass Effect 2's gameplay makes the other game's feel like a chore in comparison.

The correct answer is KOTOR2. KOTOR2's story blows all of them out of the water so badly that even with the crappy gameplay, it's still better than any of those 3.

without going too far off topic, the story of KOTOR2 is "the death of the force and everything it touches" which is probably the best star wars story i've ever heard.

Indeed. ^_^

Story: KOTOR>ME1>ME2

Gameplay: ME2>ME1>KOTOR though this is a little unfair, what with one being turn based.

Overall: KOTOR>(ME2=ME1)

Difficult decision though, as they are all in my top ten list.

Oh, and KOTOR2, though expanding nicely on the gameplay mechanics of KOTOR1, just falls apart toward the end of the game.

While I actually prefer the ME universe to the Star Wars one (and I'm saying that as a Star Wars fan), KotOR really was just a far better game than either Mass Effect. Its damn near flawless in my books.

I look at it like this:


Story: KOTOR1>ME1=ME2

Characters: KOTOR1>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ME2>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ME1

Soundtrack: KOTOR1>ME2>ME1 (KOTOR's soundtrack was very memorable)

Setting: ME>SW

Gameplay: ME2>KOTOR1>ME1

Presentation: ME2>KOTOR1>ME1

KOTOR was amazing for its time but if BW released a game with that limited of character interaction in present day, people would be furious. ME2 has the best character interaction of any BW game IMO. ME2 also has the best gameplay of any BW game, with JE as a close second.
