Some people say they have had no problems with either of these trophies...But I'm now on my 3rd playthrough, and still haven't unlocked either.

1st playthrough - 1000+ darkspawn kills
2nd playthrough - 800 + darkspawn kills

And on the playthrough I'm on now I have at least 200 darkspawn kills.

So is there any way to sort this? Like deleting save data  and reloading hoping it will register? Playing offline maybe?

Aparantly these trophies can be earned across all playthroughs, so surely I'm well over due for both of these by now...

It seems to be a major bug which is largely ignored by the devs at all levels of requests.



Blight Queller is my only one left, and I have killed hundreds more than is supposed to be necessary. I really can't afford to give any more time to the game, yet the devs refuse to put in a simple patch to look at the no. of kills and award the achievements/trophies based on that character - which would solve ALL problems regarding this.

but doesn't explain why some people have managed to get this no problem. but then there are others saying that it must be the main character who actually gets the kills. and of corse there is no way to see that (darkspawn kills anyway). i just wana know what's actually meana be done to get the trophy or if it is generally bugged.

apperently its a console bug, it works fine on my pc version.

someone on my friendslist recently got platinum trophy for this game, and im yet to see him online,, but there must be some way of being able to get it to register..

So far as I can tell, having had thr 500 one pop up ever so randomly, is that the system is messed up with more than one save file. I *think* it only goes of the file marked '(1)', so long as you only use ONE save, then it counts.

well i got it no problem, I usually put the rest of my team on hold and go through with my main so if it needs to be the main charachter that makes the kills the above will be the best way to get it.

Exactly same here, but still no unlock.



1 full playthrough - human rogue

1 full playthrough elf warrior

2 semi-playthroughs (through Orzamar and Return to Ostagar) - Dwarf Noble



Between them c. 3000 darkspawn kills and no unlock. Just wasted another 2 hours, thinking I'd cracked it but to no avail. I am getting really frustrated at no official response from Bioware over any channel.

im coming towards the end of playthrough 3, and still no master warden or blight queller..



i also realised the friend on my list who has the platinum for DA:O



recieved his trophy for 100 darkspawn kills after me, yet managed to get the 500 and 1000 before me... well annoyed but i asked him and he said he had no probs.



he also said he put the other characters on hold, so I have been doing so since i started this playthrough. Yeah an official response would be helpful as it's driving some mad!

Very early this morning whilest playing i got the master warden trophy... It was given when my main character got the kill. I was playing with the patch uninstalled, and offline. I generally believe the patch has something to do with it.



And yeah patch 1.01 is the one that i deleted off my system the other day.

@jamo You had any DLC's installed (like the stone prisoner) while getting the trophy?

I did not delete any of my saves or anything like that, just the patch. and played offline, and it did work for me.

@bornforkilling I have purchased all dlc and started playing it all ect during other playthroughs, i dont believe the dlc makes a difference, although when u delete the patch u cant play the dlc. But as far as I'm aware it is all still installed and stuff.

I would also add that after i got master warden trophy [& blight queller last night!!!!) i updated the game with the patch, and all my saves are fine and how they were before hand. as in nothing was corrupted. all dlc still as it was ect ect.

im on xbox 360 and i just finished my first play through last night ( startede awakening ) and i have over 1k kills on my main character himself but i have a total of 2k something kills, around 900 of them are darkspawn kills, i have only gotten the achievement for killing 100 of them, my cousin though, got his 500 kill achievement....



this sux!



if they do not unlock for me then i will mod those achievements



I will stop at nothing to give me an achievement that i rightfully earned

this is a joke to be honest still no trophy and well over 2k DS kills through my 3rd playthrough, i got the first two on my first play through! This is not on at all bioware,EA; come on you have been making games for years and years now SORT IT OUT!!!!

delete the patch, load up ur current game and play offline, the trophies will come as mine did.



@ben12345 look at the date u got ur first trophy for 100 DS kills. then look at the date u downloaded the patch. (Game Data Utility - Dragon Age - Information)



If you got the frist trophy before u had to download that patch, then i'd deffinitley recommend deleting patch n playing offline.



n let us know how it goes, cos this was the case for me, n just made sense that the patch was the problem. n after playing fru the playfru i was already on, by the end of that playthrough i got the 500 & 1000 DS kills trophies.



Btw this was my 3rd playthrough.



1st playthrough i got 100 DS kills trophy, week or so later i downloaded patch.



played fru that playfru and another playfru...still no trophy.



delete patch, 3rd playfru i recieved both when i should.

100 kills 22.2.10, patch installed 3.3.10 500kill trophy 4.3.10 going to delete the patch then load my first char.... btw cheers for the response Jamo-1990 whats r psn name?

Hmmm... I shall give this a go!

Edit: No luck. :-( How long did you have to go before it unlocked?  Kill many DS?  I started a new game, and killed a couple of dozen, but to no avail...

considering the amount of DS i killed before in my previous 2 playthroughs (2000+ DS kills)



and when i deleted the patch was thinking it would just pop after couple hours, i was playing fru for my 3rd time tryina get the traveller trophy, so i had tonnes of DS to kill (once again) but i think when u delete the patch the counter resets cos it was probs bout 500 DS kills by the time i got that trophy, and also the 1000 DS kills i didnt get by the end of that playthrough, but was close, i reloaded my save at redcliffe final onslaught and not so long later killing DS i got the blight queller.



but yeah to conclude, fink the counter resets when u delete patch, so the trophies wont simply pop up straight away.

i also did that at first, i hadn't yet completed all origins n thought, 'surely ill get the tropies pop up during them' but i well didnt. so continued on one of them (to get traveller) n it was in that playfru that i got the trophies, i also believe the origins i did counted towards it. as i did them after deleting the patch.

Playing it offline now without the patch. But you can get the 100 DS kills with the patch, it worked for me at least. The 500 and 1000 kills didnt work with the patch but working on that now.

guys how do you delete the patch cos i got the ssame problem (No blight-queller trophy) cos i went into game data and the only dragon age file there was over 5000mbs

360-wise, you just head to the Memory section, highlight the Hard Drive and press 'Y', then 'Clear Cache. I'm assuming PS3 would be something similar...
