At this rate, though, they're going to have to get rid of some or more of the squadmates, especially if they plan to add new ones in ME3.

As this is 'my game'? She will live a long and happy life with Shepard.scyphozoa wrote...
Liara is unable to die in ME1 and ME2, it is very likely that she will be able to die in ME3. How will Liara die? Will she take a missile to the face?

Yeah, that was a suttle little twist that Bioware through in wasn't it?marshalleck wrote...
Hopefully she'll die as a result of my Shepard intentionally feeding her bad info regarding who to kill on Illium.

Perhaps they already have. It never occured to me until fairly recently, that she was indeed possibly killed on Illium.marshalleck wrote...

Time for her "writers' pet" protected status to be revoked

Bah. Says you. Shepard's going to get enough squadmates to send 3 to every Reaper ship to take it outEthrenDiak wrote...

As someone else pointed out to me, she may be becoming more like her mother. She also has had to endure a lot. The death of her mother and keeping the Shadow Broker from Shep's body and handing it over to Cerberus. Although she is around 100yrs old and has matured in the last few years, she still comes across as a fairly young female that is trying to find her way. From a story standpoint, she is pretty darn important because if it wasn't for her, then Shep would have been dissected and examined by the collectors.BigGuy28 wrote...
I don't care if she lives or dies, I just don't want her on my ship. She's no longer the same person and has in fact become like a lot of the people Shepard fights. The only reason I helped her at all is because she was a friend/lover.
I can understand a person changing but she changed way too much. Also, if she really cared for Shepard so much, she could have stayed with Cerberus so Shepard had someone familiar there to explain things when he/she woke up. Her obsession with the Shadow Broker was more important so I'll leave her to that and want nothing else to do with her.
