Satinalia, a day of wild celebration and sumptuous holiday feasts celebrated across Thedas, has arrived! In Ferelden tradition, gifts and pranks are exchanged on Feastday among friends, family and lovers. Now you'll be able to join the festivities and surprise your companions with gifts that may touch their hearts or offend their sensibilities.

Feastday gifts and pranks offer the player a chance to explore the approval system in Dragon Age: Origins at greater depth by making your companions despise or adore you. These packs are available for purchase individually or as a combo back containing both the Gifts and Pranks.

Feastday Prank Pack
A collection of mostly humorous prank items that will significantly decrease your followers' affections for you. Some of these items have additional special uses once given to your followers. Bodahn stocks the pranks in his store at the party camp year-round.

Includes:
  • Ten unique Feastday pranks that your party members will love to hate. Each prank is specific to one potential companion.
  • Two types of gifts to let you apologize afterward.

Example Prank:
Protective Cone — Give to Dog to decrease his approval.
  • Additional Functionality: After giving the gift, Dog can equip the item as a collar.

Feastday Gift Pack
A collection of mostly humorous gift items that will significantly increase your followers' affections for you. Many of these items have additional special uses once given to your followers. Bodahn stocks the gifts in his store at the party camp year-round.

Includes:
  • Ten unique Feastday gifts that your party members are sure to love. Each gift is specific to one potential companion.
  • Two types of lousy gifts to let your companions know you weren't completely serious.

Example Gift:
Grey Warden Hand Puppet — Give to Alistair to increase his approval.
  • Additional Functionality: After giving the gift, activate the item to make Alistair put on a puppet show.

Feastday Combo Pack
A combo pack that includes all the items from the Feastday gift and prank packs. You will also incur a savings when the feastday items are purchased as a combo pack.

Feastday Gift and Prank DLC items are now available for purchase on the PlayStation Network Store for $1.99, XBox Live Marketplace for 160 points and for PC for 160 BioWare Points, except for PS3 owners in Europe, where an error occurred resulting in the items being released for free earlier this month – so these items will remain free in that region. A bundle with both packs is also available at a discount. For more details visit the Dragon Age Add-On page: http://www.dragonage.com/addon

Shame it's not compatible with Awakening.

The Butterfly Sword is the only item you'll be able to bring over to Awakenings, I believe.

That and the Scented Soap.

Regarding the PC bundle - apologies but we're working on fixing this on the web store. In the meantime, as others have indicated, you can purchase points from the site and redeem these (or existing left over points) from in-game.

The web store issue with the bundle pack is fixed - as soon as the web folks update the links from social + dragonage.com you'll be able to grab these from outside the game as well.

Happy Satinalia folks - and a nice long weekend for those with days off.

Folks having trouble with PS3 - these items should be up by now, so we've contacted Sony to double check if they are aware of any issues.

In the meantime to see if we can narrow it down - can you confirm the region you are in, which disc you're trying to play with (Origins or Awakening), and whether your disc is from a different region? And are the items visible in the PSN Store, or in-game DLC menu, or neither?

Thanks

It is currently free in the PS Store ... Why not on PC then? :/

And btw, when trying to purchase on the website, it says "menu.item.buy.game.points is temporarily unavailable."

The answers to both of those are on this thread - post #1 and 3 posts up, to be exact ;)

The web store issue with the bundle pack is fixed

Sorry Fernando, not sure what this really means.  Is this about the issue that we can't buy the correct number of points at the moment, or something else ?   Being able to buy 160/240 points is the only fix I'm interested in and one that remains outstanding (in the UK checkout anyway).  Will that be forthcoming ?  Thanks in advance for further clarification.

No, this was more common issue reported that following the purchase link for the Feastday content bundle pack for PC over the web was producing an error - leaving only the purchase of the single Gift or Prank content packs an option on the web.  You could still buy points and then redeem those within the game for the bundle pack however.    Now this web error is also fixed, so the better value content bundle option is available over web - once the links themselves get updated (which the team is doing now).

This does not address your request for being able to buy only 160 or 240 points.   I'll investigate that on tuesday when everyone I need for that is back in the office again.

Folks who were having issues on PC & buying the combo from web - this has now been properly resolved and purchasing this will give you the two packs for download in-game as well as on your social page list of dlc.

We are now working on getting this applied to all existing customers who already purchased - my apologies to those that were affected by this.

Please see the latest on the thread below.

For folks that had issues purchasing over web or not receiving their DLC - this should now be all addressed. Thanks for your patience.
