I think I'll just go back to Tetris, no bugs, no patches, no DLC's just pure fun

What a waste of Money, could have simply read up on this through the forums and NOT bought.(Console commands=save money for PC) Here I thought they'd have cut-scenes for each gift/prank.(what a fool for thinking that) Oh and did I mention that even this DLC is buggy.(wrong +/- variations)
FFuuuuuuuuuuuuuu....

Unfortunately, it appears that at least some people are seeing a bug that affects the message (warm/love/etc.) but this doesn't affect the romance itself.Ceridraen wrote...
Are the gifts supposed to alter your approval ratings? I don't mean the number - I mean the 'warm at 100' vs 'love at 100.' That would seem to be a bit of a problem. (I did mine on early saves in characters who had already completed Awakening, so it didn't matter to me, but if I start a new Origins person, I'd like to avoid a bug that alters romances.

To pay for a dlc that includes 10 gifts its just stupid. Instead I suggest you give a present to your family or friends, not to computer characters. Keep up supporting this kind of DLC, the future of pc games looks just great with this new fashion way to get money by releasing poor and not so poor dlc... Dont complain when in a few years the only way to get games will be just by internet donwload, and paying alot of money "dlc" which are supposed to be included for free

I remember the good old days when there was no such thing as DLC because most people didn't have access to the internet. Then I remember the days not so long ago when DLC was free. Then I remember just yesterday when you spent actual money on DLC (not points). Nowadays, you buy more points than you need because the smallest amount you can purchase are 400. Thus, you spend $5 on something that is advertised for $3, all the while wishing Bioware would fix the frame-rate issues for 64-bit operating systems created by the 1.03 patch. Just bend me over and call me Sally. . . .

"Takes away the dignity" - Said Thibbledorf26 - No I don't believe it does that. It adds a bit of fun.
Seriously, if it offends you that much, then don't buy it and don't use it.
As for the cost, there is already quite a bit of free DLC available, this one in particular I assume would be classed as Off-Canon so $2 for it means only people who want it will buy it. If it was free everyone would download it anyway, this way gives BioWare / EA a good indication of how much of their customers are interested and what they're prepared to spend for new content. Market research, low cost, new content. I'm all for it.
