It is against Electronic Arts company policy to give anything away for free, including patches.
Honestly I think whoever came up with the idea of DLC should be flayed with a rusty spoon.
I like the way your evil mind works
I do like having sten, Zev and morigan throw a stick for my "smelly mut" to fetch though

Thanks ever so much for this. It isn't the money or the points that bother me. It's the attitude behind it. It apparently doesn't matter that I'd have to break my game to play this frankly minor add on, as long as I've bought it. I won't be using it 'til the patch gets fixed.
Nice one. /slowclap.

What i do mind however is, that my codex, the rpg tool and source of lore is now infested with a list of people who worked on this stuff. Silly as it sounds it realy bothers me. <_<

Actually this point was brought up numerous times in the past. It was an unfortunate design decision along with DLC salesman Levi Dryden.
I guess it's not a big deal for casual gamers (who sadly are in the majority) but for people who deeply care about immersing themselves in the atmospher of a game, this kind of stuff is bothersome.

This does not address your request for being able to buy only 160 or 240 points. I'll investigate that on tuesday when everyone I need for that is back in the office again.
Any news yet, Fernando ? I've been testing the checkout every now and then but nothing as yet. Should I give up all hope ?

The announcement should include the fact that patch 1.03 is required for the Feastday DLC. I would be damned annoying to buy this before finding out it can't run on Origins with patch 1.02a.
Tell me about it. Having taken leave of my senses, I decided to purchase the feastday combo pack. There is nothing on the bioware game add-on page that patch 1.03 is required. I now have a product I cannot use. I will not install a reputedly broken patch on my game which I am half-way through and which is working fine. Annoyed would be an understatement.
I want my money back.

I was under the impression that:
“Grey Warden Hand Puppet — Give to Alistair to increase his approval.
Additional Functionality: After giving the gift, activate the item to make Alistair put on a puppet show.”
Did I miss something since I cant activate it at all? All I can do is Inspect, Move to Junk and Close as my choices.

The gift goes into the Useable inventory page but I cant use it at all. I gave Leliena (probably spelled wrong) her boots and got to have her wear them so I know at least that gift does something. Not like she says anything really. Her lute is just like Al’s doll, inventory junk. Like I said all I can do is Inspect, Move to Junk and Close as my choices.
Thanks for trying to help though.

-Unbelievable.. Going on your suggestion I checked all the radial menu things and they ARE found under potions. Potions!? Of all the stupid half thought out things to do. I guess just being to activate it in your bag inventory wasn’t simple enough… Jokes on us I guess since you cant use them in camp since you have to be using that companion to activate thier gift.sarlaac food wrote...
can you select it like you would a potion, from the radial menu? I don't have these yet but I think I'll buy them for my next playthrough.
- Can you use them in camp at all? With the way it is on the 360 I have to take them out of camp to use the gift in question.Koffeegirl wrote...
Hmm, I'm not sure how to do that in the XBOX, maybe post it in the XBOX technical issues section and someone over there will be able to help,
-Thanks for the help everyone.
