Don't play this in front of your kids though.

One of Leliana's gifts was a Chantry Whip and well ... holy crap.

How much I miss the days in which this kind of prank add-ons were, you know, free...

This seems like DLC that would of better suited being free. They should of made it free after the Bazzar thing. It would make me beileve there apology.

Well I guess it's time to go back to DAO and start a new campaign, make Sten the 2H tank, Lel the backstabber, I guess I'll go w/ Mage?

Sounds funny but yus, I would not pay for this either. I've bought all the pay-to-play DLC so far and this is the first I'm passing on.

I just checked on the XBL Marketplace and this is an actual DLC. But $2? Seriously, how about fixing some bugs for the 360 version that you fixed 4 months ago on the PC Bioware? This seems as lame as ME2's alternative appearance pack. I'll pass...

Try doing it from the title screen menu, that's how I did mine and it worked perfectly.

Shame it's not compatible with Awakening.

Yeah I think I'll pass on this.. it reminds me of WoW.

Downloads remind you of WoW?
April Fool's reminds you of WoW?
Giving gifts reminds you of WoW?

Were you an obsessive player?

All this time I thought it was an April Fool's joke and was just playing along.

not the most original DLC, but... mildly amusing to mess around with approvals. Then again, today might not be the best time to advertise it :P

You can. Acquire the points and then, while in-game, you can buy the combo pack.

I bought it... and it's both hilarious and genial!

Just bought this combo pack with the excess points i had over from stocking up to buy Kasumi.

Had a right laugh with some of them, the Uncrushable Pigeon made me chuckle a bit IRL; I swore I heard Shale give his trademark sigh when i made him equip it >:3 And the various debuffs Alistair gets when Morrigan uses the Voodoo Doll were rather amusing as well.

I had a few problems though; the stick gift for Dog seems a bit broken, can't seem to use it. And the 'Use' text for Wynne's prank staff had no description of what it does.

Still, good little pack for a few laughs. Pulled me right back into vanilla Dragon Age.

I bought it, and liked it. Cheap, simple, funny, lighthearted stuff! Nothing too shabby, but surely entertaining, and it was a welcome excuse to visit my main character's epilogue camp save. I haven't tested out all the gifts yet though. :)

Do you get appropriate dialogue from your party members when you gift them the items?

Not any lines recorded specially for this pack. Sten does recite a line from the Qunari book when you use it though, but I think that's about it.

I just got it. It's fun but kind of disappointing...the interactions of the characters with their special items are extremely short...like less than 5 seconds ...and the party members can't tell the difference between high approval gifts and insulting gifts so they'll still say "Thank you very much" as their approval drops 50 points.

This pack essentially sells an easy way to max or drop the approval of all party members at will. The 50 thoughtful gifts each give +10 approval all the time and the 50 cakes each give +5 approval all the time and each special gift gives +50 approval. Then there are two negative generic gifts that have 50 pieces each and every time they either give -10 or -5 approval and the individual prank item that drops approval by 50 points.

It's worth $3 but it simplifies the game by completely removing the need to worry about a feature of the game.

In the end I have no complaints really, BioWare made it and released it on two playable platforms(360 and PS3) and its good value for the amount I paid.

Oh that sucks... Thanks for letting me know! At work wishing I was at home so I can download it... sad that they didn't add dialogue for it though.
