I loaded up my DA:O, and in Haven, my stamina/mana bar was blank. I figured, "Okay, that's weird." and after talking to the guard, it seemed like a weird place. But then I went to the store. The clerk tried to kill me, but it didn't work as neither of us were taking damage. I loaded from an earlier point, and went to the chapel instead. Everyone was still invincible- including my party, and the guards.
Anyone know how to fix this bug?
Missing stamina and mana bars/no damage?

I have the same problem. I've tried reloading other saved games and completely uninstalling/reinstalling (but retrying the existing saved games).

Nothing that wasn't working fine before I installed Awakenings and upgraded to 1.04.
I just disabled ALL mods & DLC to no effect.
I'll reinstall and try before I install Awakenings and then again before I update to 1.04.

Another reinstallation seems to have worked.
apparently, if reinstallation doesn't work the first time, it's reinstall, reinstall, reinstall again...

No, it is the mods you were using. You need to empty your override folder before applying a patch or you will likely encounter problems.
